We bought this set mostly for our outdoor cooking, but I have found that I’m using it inside as well! Many people mentioned they use the set to press down and melt cheese on their hamburger, but I have found a few more uses for our house. I like my steaks cooked medium while my husband likes his well done. I kept the dome on over my husband’s steak and left mine uncovered (with the grill cover closed). I cooked both steaks for about 10-minutes and they both came out perfectly! You have to be careful though…the silicon/rubber on the handle does keep it from getting as hot as plain metal, but it does get too warm to pick up when the dome is closed up inside the grill. And after the steaks were done, I covered them both with the big dome to melt the butter.The cast iron press is also great, not just for hamburgers, but also to make warm sandwiches such as grilled cheese. You can use it much like a panni machine to cook both sides of your sandwich at once. Or your hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, or veggies if that’s your preference.The domes feel solid and not flimsy at all. They are easily washed and dried either by hand or in the dishwasher. It would look more like a set if both domes were the same rather than with different sheen and handles, but they look nice. I will definitely be using these items over and over again!

Got this for my husband's grilling and baking purposes. Like that 2 domes covers could be a helpful tool pretty much for any cooking in kitchen. I used to warm my oven to keep my freshly cooked meals warm until my company arrives, now I just cover meals with these domes and it keeps food hot longer and save on my gas bill. I use smaller dome mostly for breakfast time when I need to melt a cheese over my omelet or cover my kids plates before they ready to eat. Bigger dome works perfectly to cover our glass one pan. Tonight we will be grilling and use press for the 1st time. I like how press heavy, it should put a good pressure on our burgers. It seems it won't be a hassle to clean grill press after grilling if we manage to clean right away. I couldn't find an information if domes are dishwasher safe but I still did put bigger dome inside my dishwasher. It washed well BUT it left a little water spots. It didn't discolor dome though, just those white water specks. I wiped it with a dry towel and it shined like new again. So, I would assume its dishwasher safe, still I want to contact seller to find out if it safe to use in dishwasher. Overal, we loved it so far. It was fairly easy to put handles on it and it arrived with extra screws which made me happy because we always lose some screws in our house.

Received it a few days ago and have already used it at least once a day. The kit has shown great results each time. The two lids and the weight feel solid and durable. The meat weight is large enough for a couple of patties or a large steak serving. Once placed on top of the meat it fits under the large lid. I use the sampler on for veggies. The wooden handle get a little hot, but nothing that can't be handled. Overall it's a great addition to my outdoor cooking accessories and at a great price/quality ratio.

Very useful tools for cooking. I haven’t gotten a chance to use them with my grill yet, but they work just as well indoors. The smaller cover sits perfectly on top of my 8 inch skillet. The larger cover works great with my 12 inch skillet. Makes the best grilled cheeses as it contains the heat and helps the cheese melt without the bread getting too crispy. Also great for giving something a quick steam or for use on top of a griddle. All three items feel great and are very sturdy. Love these items and can’t wait to incorporate them further into my cooking

This is a great set. I don't write reviews for products normally but all the pieces are great quality, which impressed me to write this. It was all nicely packaged and had extra hardware included. I read reviews for other similar sets to this and they had complaints of dings, dents or imperfections. This set was perfect. No scratches or marks or anything.

Got these to use with my black stone griddle. The perfect accessory. Makes melting cheese on burgers a breeze. Easy cleaning

Very good. Have two sets and their great for a bid griddle cooking. Haven’t used the press yet but it has good weight so I’m sure it’ll be as good as the dome covers are
