Modern Oriental Floral Area Rug Prism ACH 5'x8'

This Modern Oriental Rug has beautiful colors and a pattern that will last a long time, but it is thin.The background is a light tan, with the big leaves a darker tan, and some of the buds an almost-light chocolate color. There are some maroon colored buds, as well as some that are kind of darker sky blue. The rug works well with other shades/hues of blue and brown, and I would assume dark reds as well. I have it paired with a dark turquoise curtain and dark green and brown furniture. The color of the curtain and the blue in the rug really accent each other well, pulling the room together.The floral pattern does have Japanese influences - although it’s not so much “floral” as it is “fauna.” There are no flowers on it, only what may appear to be flower buds.It is a beautiful rug; however, I have one pretty major complaint. It is THIN. Not as thin as some rugs I have seen, but it is thin. If you plan to sit on the floor on a regular basis, I recommend buying a carpet pad to go underneath it. As far as it sliding on my laminate flooring…I cut 6 comparatively small pieces of mesh shelf liner and inserted them under the four corners and along the middle edges of the rug. It usually takes force to move the rug with this setup. That said, without anything under it, the rug does slide dangerously easily.

I didn't want to spend a ton of money for a rug, so I got this one for $90. When it came and we unrolled it, it didn't want to lay flat but eventually evened out. The colors were true to the photo.After about 6 months, it looks super dingy and the edges are rolled up and frayed. I bought another rug at the same time for $130 and it is significantly better. I should have bit the bullet and spent a few more dollars since now I will be buying a new rug.

The rug arrived days before I expected, however the packaging could've been better. It arrived in heavy gauge plastic but was open on one end. It wasn't dirty and I was able to use it immediately. I still like the rug online more than I like it in my space. The colors are true to photo and the quality is ok, not great.

I love this rug and would happily purchase more like it. It's been on my living room floor for a couple of months; it unrolled easily and cleanly without any creases after a few days, and it actually stays down quite well without any trippable corners flapping up. Much better than other rugs I've purchased, especially with a cat—he loves to sharpen his claws on it but the wear and tear really doesn't show (and neither does the fur). Easy to vacuum, easy to care for, works just like it's supposed to.

Looks very nice in my dining room. It is not exactly 5x8, it is a few inches shorter. I am pleased with this purchase.

The rug took longer to get here than I expected and the background color is darker than Ivory. but this rug is soft on my feet and I love the overall pattern. I am glad I made this purchase.

Although not very thick, it is soft and attractive in my little hill home living room. The colors are a sandy/tan background with rust red, grayish blue, olive green, and darker tan print.

I couldn't wait to put this down in my living room. It is so much my style and the colors go perfectly with my furniture and decor.
