Good bike
The blue color is a really nice color. The bike seems sturdy. We purchased this bike for our son who has multiply disabilities. He has tried to get on his brothers bike but he doesn't know how to balance or peddle yet. Our sons really likes the bike. The only down fall with the bike is the directions. It shows a picture but doesn't tell you what size screws to use for the seat or axle or any other part of the bike. If the size of the screws were all the same it wouldn't be to bad. In the instruction book it said there is a video you can watch but doesn't tell you the link. I tried to look it up but couldn't find a video for this bike. So be prepared to spend a lot of time putting the bike together unless you have put bikes together before.

Okay quality. Instructions completely useless.
Quality is ok for the price....I guess. I think the bike should be priced a little cheaper for what was received in my opinion. The instruction manual is completely useless. You will need to search a hodgepodge of YouTube videos for each step for real help. The diagrams in the manual are difficult to make out. For example - the diagram to put the chain on doesn’t really show you the path of the chain around the rear derailleur, so I ended up putting it on incorrectly and had to unlink the chain and re-link it (which failed ... more below). There’s no indication on how to adjust the brakes at the pads to make them functional and safe. There’s no indication on which side a washer goes at each connection. I saw another review where the customer complained about the instructions and the seller replied that they have improved instructions now, well as of Dec 17th 2020 when I received the bike, they don’t look improved to me. The last page hints at them having videos, but there’s no indication on where the videos are. The whole thing is in very bad broken English....which is fine for assembling other products like a bookshelf, but when it comes to assembling a bike - something that needs to be SAFE to use and has parts that needs to be installed and adjusted precisely - there needs to be expert detailed guidance. This bike took me 3 days at 3+ hours a day to assemble. It should not have taken that long!I got almost done and realized the chain was on wrong due to unclear instructions and the tool to assemble the bike chain that that came with the kit is completely awful and bent one of the chain links to the point of no return.I had to take it to a local bike shop to finish it and do final adjustments since I didn’t have confidence in the instructions that the bike was safe enough for my elderly father. I feared that something important might have been missed or mot adjusted properly. The front wheel is warped and wiggles when riding. There were scratches and scuffs on the paint on the frame. Missing some screws for the back fenders. Also 1st gear really feels like 2nd or 3rd gear should, which will be a big negative for my dad. He needs the low gears for his pace.I don’t know if I’d buy this again. The quality is about a 7 out of 10 I’d say.

Mixed feelings
I have mixed feelings about this bike and the overall purchase. Bought the bike for my father who is in his 80s and wanted a safe way to exercise, and it's worked for about 2-3 weeks so far. The size is perfect for him and he is getting the exercise he wanted. It's probably the most affordable adult tricycle on the market. And they were prompt in their shipping, especially before Christmas. If you aren't a handy person then it will be extremely difficult to assemble. The instruction manual was no help whatsoever. The online video got me through it but it was still kind of tough to figure out. It might help if you stand on your head while watching the video. The tools they include to assemble the bike are super cheap and won't provide the torque needed. You will definitely need your own tools. When all is assembled the seat and handle bars still twist even with the joints tightened as far as I can make them. I may have even stripped the bolt for the seat because I couldn't get it tight enough. The design of the bike is a little awkward with the pedals directly below the seat instead of a little in front of the seat which would be more comfortable. The back to the seat doesn't really do anything, so don't buy the bike just for that feature. I will probably have to take to a local bike shop so they can check my work for assembly and figure out why there is a clicking with each rotation of the pedals with weight bearing and at first there was also a grinding I could hear in the axle. And I can't seem to get the brakes adjusted properly. If the seat and handle bars are an indication of how well that can be done then it's not worth it to buy a bike that doesn't have sufficient brakes. I may update this later. I've asked the seller for a new seat, we will see how they respond.

Once it's assembled, it's a good tricycle
A lot of reviews point out the difficulties during assembly. Yes, it's not something you can do in 30 minutes, but I'm pretty sure the bikes get assembled in the bike shops that sell them in the same way, so just understand that you are buying disassembled bike. The written instructions are somewhat useless, but the video referenced in the item description was very useful. It took about 8 hours total (over 3 evenings) to assemble it, adjusting the derailleur being the trickiest. The rest is straightforward, once you do it at least once :)Once it's was assembled, my 65-year old Mom was able to enjoy the ride. I want to point out, that in a way, tricycle is trickier to ride than a bicycle. It doesn't have to do with this particular one, it's a general observation. I do a lot of mountain biking myself, and rely heavily on controlling the bike with balance and body position. You don't get any of that on the tricycle, just be prepared. But you do get a smooth ride where you don't have to worry about balance, provided you are riding in a straight line on an even road. Again, not related to this particular tricycle.Overall, very pleased with the purchase, definitely worth the money spent.
