The author delivered on another page turner and a new favorite book boyfriend. I definitely need a Célian in my life.

One of my favorite stories of 2018!! Ms. Shen outdid herself again!What do you do with your life when you finish one of the best stories of this year? Gahhh!!!! Two nights practically without sleep, but it was worth it. Dirty Headlines is an epic story, it has the characteristic style of the author that hooks you from the first page, but, nevertheless, it is different from everything she has written so far, a little lighter and with a touch of comedy that made me laugh out loud.A story sexy, hot, full of passion, intense, amazing, that consumed me and obsessed me and left me absolutely in love, and with an epic book hangover.Celian and Jude are my new favorite couple of L.J. Shen, with an electrifying chemistry, heat and attraction between them almost tangible through the pages, and their sex scenes are the HOTTEST I've read, off charts!!!! These characters *sighs* owned my soul and heart!! Believe me you will love their exchanges, the banter and the spark that lights up every time they confront each other in the office, and the hot sex scenes in bed.Celian is the typical Alpha of L.J.'s stories, intelligent, sarcastic, bordering on the cruel and crude. He gets to reach Vicious with his heart of stone, and ruthless style, eating your heart and spitting it out, also dethroned Dean with his dirty mouth, I swear it made me blush a thousand times, and I almost combustion in several scenes, but it's also a character that under his hard exterior seeks to be loved. AHHH and when he opens and changes, is EVERYTHING, Celian melted not only my panties but also my heart, he's the perfect new book boyfriend for me.Jude, like most of the heroines of the author is unique, not only beautiful but loyal, kind, dedicated, strong, witty, sassy, fiercely defends what she believes and does, her passion and love for her work is incomparable, and her chucks !!! She is also the only one who stand up Celian. I love her too much.The story develops at a steady pace, and little by little lust and power give way to love; secrets, revelations and twists in history left me in shock and had me on the edge of the seat. In addition, as the plot unfolds we see a change of the protagonist, his hard outer and cold heart is thawed, and we can see his hidden heart. I loved seeing the progress in their relationship and the profound transformation of the characters.Without a doubt, L.J. Shen is one of my favorite authors, her skill and talent is limitless, she envelops readers with her magic, and makes them feel part of her stories, and in this case it was no exception, the banter and sarcasm among the main characters leave you wanting more and the story never ends.A funny story, passionate, unique, with a chemistry so palpable and a unique, dirty romance that will make you laugh, sigh and smile, without a doubt it is a MUST read that readers will not be able to put down

The cover of the book said Hello! I can feel my gut just went down the drain... How can I not? Celian Laurent is the hottest Billionare who everyone is envy for..The guy's mood can swing from zero to 60 seconds in 2 seconds. He could swallow, chewed and spit up like a fiery dragoon ..Boy, Celian took the throne for the most craptastic Jerk..Judith Humphrey, the sassy Brooklyn girl...her obssesion!! Gahh , I love her spirit and personalities to the T.. Jude oh my Jude...she is strong, sassy, funny, kind and take no crap from other people..DIRTY HEADLINES is a superb office romance.. enemy lover romance..Jude and Celian had started with the wrong foot and everything went with it... The sparks were like a dynamite.. The ego was in check... The two stubborn couple who had nothing to lose..I love the dynamic and crazy taunting.. The emotion were raw, hot steamy, seductive, my mind cant form any words with thie crazy couple...Celian was a lost man until Jude. They needed each other more than ever..I love the humbleness and kindness behind the story. DIRTY HEADLINES is a romance with many flawes. I cant put it down since I started with chapter One. This book was so so great. I practically highlighting every words... The humour were off the chart.. the emotional of falling in love was scary.. the possibility was Real..This story IS Real. So does Celian and Jude.LJ Shen did a fantastic work.. I was swooned, laughing, giggling, pulling my hair when I cant take Celian antics..It was a fun romance with a twisted story. I love it from the bottom of my heart.. 😍😍😍😍😍A must read ... come on, you need to get going Chuck :)

Another fantastic book by LJ Shen, does she ever write a bad one - nope never and this one won't disappoint. Her writing as always is impeccable, her character description is just perfect; this author certainly knows how to bring every personality trait out in her characters, they are legendary and gorgeous and I do love them all.A enemy to lovers story, Jude (Judith) is trying to make ends meet working jobs to look after her ill father who has cancer. This lady is amazing for a start, she is feisty, kind, loyal and takes no s*** off anyone and she is also smart with a capital S. I LOVED Jude !! When she meets Celian the attraction is instant but Jude is focused on her dream job and that one night stand is just what it is, one night. She doesn't plan on ever meeting up with Celian again because as she sneaks out of that hotel room with his wallet ashamed of herself but in dyer need of money to pay rent and bills to keep her and her Father afloat she thinks she is never going to see him again - how wrong can she be !!!!I swear the chemistry between these two was electric. The minute Celian opened his arrogant sarcastic mouth I swooned and fell in love with him. He's a rich powerful man who likes to keep everyone and everything in place and at arms length. His heart is encased in a cage and he lets no one in, but oh my when that cage starts to fall apart very slowly we get to see a man who wants to be loved and to love someone back - is Jude that lady to unlock that cage ?This man - holy moly talk about a filthy sexy mouth, he was sex personified and it was mouth watering thigh clenching stuff reading about his sexy time.This book isn't just about sex though, a great story to boot it has twists, angst, secrets and great secondary characters all wrapped up in a pretty red bow just waiting for you to unwrap it. Next to Vicious this man is my next favourite hotty and a@holeThis book is a MUST read from this very very talented author and is absolutely AWESOME !!!!!!

It’s a bit hard to review this book because it moves in ebbs and flows. Parts of it are good, and then parts of it make no dam sense. She’s supposedly this virtuous person who gives the poor good when she cant afford a sandwich and refuses to accept his help on paying off her debts but she’s also a thief who steals from him when she sees his wallet! Also, if she’s so broke that she can’t pay for her fathers chemo or the bills or rent or her food then how can she afford new chucks to match her every mood? It also says she has 16! Then she thinks she can’t love because her mom told her she’s not programmed to love and then her father gives her a book ages later which she reads overnight and then decides that actually she misunderstood what her mom said so she can actually love. Bizarre! It defies logic that someone actually wrote that in a book and expected the readers to go along with it. Anyways, the hero and heroine have their moments - they have good chemistry. The book itself is too long winded - it didn’t need to be this long, but overall it was an okay read if you’re willing to leave parts of your brain behind.

I'm starting to run out of superlatives to describe Shen's novels. Every one she brings out has me clamoring to buy - seriously, I can't press the "Buy" button fast enough.Dirty Headlines was no different. I jumped on it as soon as it was released and devoured it in one sitting. It's took me this long to write a review because I had to try to find the right words - I still don't think I have.Shen's voice is sublime... the characters in this book were superbly developed. Célian - well, what can I say about our bad boy hero? I never thought a book-boyfriend could take the place of my beloved Baron 'Vicious' Spencer - until I read Dirty Headlines. I loved Célian's filthy mouth, his dry wit, how he slowly, but oh-so-surely fell for our heroine, Jude. She, by the way, was awesome. Sassy, determined, fearless, his perfect match.Loved, loved, loved it.Next please Ms. Shen - I can't wait!

Not kidding! I bought and read this book on the release day, generally ignored life and read it in one go. I loved it but it left me with such a hangover i couldn't actually write why I loved it. So i put it down tried a few new books nothing seemed to get me out that zone. I fif want any reasonable book worm did and i re-read some of my favourite authors and everyrhing that L.j shen has written beforepicking it back up.I still feel the same! I loved every part of it. From start to finish it had me laughing out loud, the come to jesus moments are brilliant! Celian as a character cant me any more of an alpha male with no redeeming qualities and chucks has enough sass to power the west coast if the USA.Together they are brilliantly funny and captivating you will not be able to put it down.There is heartbreak, personal discovery, a teenie tiny bit of romance ans lots of hot sex. Everything you need in a good book, but this is a great book because our leigh has wrirten it so well.

OMG this book was awesome from start to finish I was hooked. There was heat (and I do mean lots of heat) , conflict and twists and turns along the way.Jude is having the day from hell, her father’s medical bills are piling up and she’s got no way of paying them, she failed at the job interview that she was hoping was her salvation and to top it all off her fiancé has been cheating on her with his boss as she finds out when she stops by his apartment. Not really having the money to get drunk and forget all her problems but she can afford at least one drink to numb her broken heart. She’s approached by a stranger and although she resists at first she soon finds herself having the most explosively pleasurable night of her life with the most arrogant man she has ever met in her life. She sneaks away in the early hours of the morning taking his cash from his wallet as he sleeps, she is ashamed of her actions but the need to survive surpasses that right now but little does she know that they will meet again.Celian is the hero that you can’t help but love and hate at the same time, and if you don’t want to punch him at least a dozen times when reading this book I would be shocked, but underneath his persona is a man who has never known the love of a family, the only person who ever really loved him was her sister and her death finally killed the last good part of him and finding his Fiancé cheating on him with his father was the final thing to destroy his love of anything other than his career and business. That is until Jude re-enters his life and turns his world upside down, he finds himself seeking her out and wanting to be around her but has engaged and has obligations to fulfil no matter how much he wants her can he really give everything up that has made his life make sense and by the time he realises that he is capable of love will he have blown his chance to have the happiness that he is now craving with Jude?Jude couldn’t believe her bad luck the day that she started at Laurant, she has a stable job finally that means that she can start paying off her father’s medical bills and have the career she desires one day and then Celian walks in and turns her world upside down. How can her one night stand be her new boss and how is she going to deal with the fact that she slept with an engaged man. No matter if it’s just an arrangement of convenience or something more, he’s still a cheater so why can’t she stay away from him? He pushes her like no one else and although she tries to keep her heart to herself she can’t help but fall for the man she loves to hate. How many times can he push her away before she gives up on the love she has for him and seeks a love that she deserves and will Celian be able to convince her to give him one last chance?Jude’s character is one of my all time favourite female heroines, she is loyal, talented, funny and has no issues speaking her mind no matter who she’s speaking too. Celian meets his match in every way with Jude and they burn the pages up. This is seriously a MUST READ loved the characters and how they grow throughout the book.
