Model Ucr2464 B00 Universal Remote Control

First let me say that the picture shown is NOT the remote you will get. It is different however the seller must know that this remote will also work to replace the remote you searched for in description. I was skeptical when I opened it and thought for sure I would have to return it but I figured let me give it a try and thankfully I had it programmed and working within 3 minutes! Works perfectly to replace our lost remote!

I couldn't find what I actually wanted, but this one is great, possibly better than my original remote.If your like me, than you're a bit scared this isn't an actual Optimum remote. Well it actually is, but it's not the one that comes with newer boxes. However, all the buttons for the box work the same and I even noticed some features on this remote that seem to have been taken away by newer models.It can program to your TV easily as the instructions to do so are so simple, they could be printed on the battery cover in large print. The batteries that came with it came in handy because when I actually got around to opening, they were ready for the quick-draw. I definitely recommend this to anyone who's roommate, friend or (Most likely) family member lost the remote and ruined it to the point where you don't even bother turning it on.

My cable was not working so optima people told me to come to their location and get a new box. The lady took the old one with the remote and handle me a new package. After spending time hooking the new box, I realized that the new remote was lousy. It was small, hard to hold with small buttons and being black, and looked too similar to my TV remote. I repeatedly called the cable people and requested that I get my old silver remote returned. They refused so after several months, I found this be sold on Amazon.I am very happy to have it; it works fine. I never received the compass in the photo but I do not care. I have a workable remote.

If you're paying $44.00 for a remote which you should get FREE OF CHARGE from Optimum it is aggravating to not have it working 100%. The reason I bought this is because the new remote that Optimum gives you DOES NOT have a functional TV Input which allows going from regular cable to Apple etc. Total BS from Optimum. So I bought this product which allows me to do that BUT, I can't use the Mute button which is important to me. If this is fixable, I'd sure like to find out how to do it . Otherwise, the product is OK, but not worth $44.00.

I ordered this remote to replace our old one that had been dropped multiple times over many years and was kept together with zip ties. It was very easy to pair with my Samsung tv.

THE REMOTE WORKS AS WELL AS MY ORIGINAL REMOTE, ALL THE BUTTONS WORKED WELL, AND I WAS ABLE TO PROGRAM IT TO WORK WITH MY CABLE BOX, AND TV.HOWEVER, I DID NOT RECEIVE MY COMPASS, BUT EVEN HAPPIER TO HAVE A WORKING REMOTE. IT WORKS AS PROMISED. .DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.THANK YOU

The remote you get is NOT the one pictured and is NOT a replacement for Optimum. The optimum remote has a few more buttons and is a different model. The optimum remote is pictured in the description but the one you get is different (says for Cablevision). There may have been a relationship between Cablevision and Optimum at one point but the remotes are not interchangeable. Most of the buttons do work, however the input source select button doesn't and of course you can't do anything about the missing buttons.For Cablevision users, this is probably a good replacement. My rating is strictly based on the fact that the Optimum remote pictured and model number listed is not what you get, hence the 1-star.

The previously owned remote mysteriously disappeared one night. I was left to get out of bed to change or find a new channel. So I came to amazon in search of some thing and decided to see if they sold a remote that could be used with my cable box or one that is associated with my cable provided.Long story short, i ordered it, it came today and it is bettterrrrrrr than the one i had. For some reason the one i lost couldn't be used to control the tv and i had to get a remote for the tv. This one synched (?) With my tv. It can controls the power AND the volume of the tv. Now i can be truly lazy 😁😁😁😁😁
