Flimsy soft thin material very fragile
I applied the seal and it stuck ok , I then secured it with screws by drilling a hole for the screw , when I installed the screw with very light pressure( in a aluminum door) my hand slipped and the screwdriver went right through the seal!I was shocked, so I tested a scrap piece and poked my car key through it with ease. this stuff is super fragile and will not hold up to any daily use, it is very thin and with summer heat will also warp out of shape. a waste of $$

This product is unusable.
The gray silicone has a layer of adhesive that is covered by red film. The adhesive sticks better to the red film than it does to the silicone. So, there is no way to remove the red strip to expose the adhesive. The adhesive comes off with the red film. If there is some special technique, I would be happy to hear it. But I used an Optivisor, Xacto knife, and tweezers to try and coax the red film to separate from the adhesive film and stay on the gray silicone, and I could not do it.

First time ever applying weather sealant myself - so easy and effective!
I wanted to seal my drafty aluminum apartment windows, which were making it cold in my living room and stressing the plants I had been keeping on the window sills. I had never done anything like that before, and everyone I asked about it locally was as clueless as me as to what to do. Because of COVID, I didn't want to ask the maintenance staff to come in and do it, as that didn't seem like a high-enough emergency/priority to risk getting COVID (many residents in my senior complex have had it, so more exposure for the maintenance staff). So I did as much research as I could to understand the process, how to measure, and what kind to get for the windows, and that led me eventually to this product. I bought enough for the double window in my living room and my door. After watching some how-to videos on YouTube, I finally got the courage to start cutting and applying it. I was shocked and laughing at myself at how quick and easy it was. Oh my. What was I feeling so intimidated about before? It's not rocket science LOL.After applying it, I could not believe the difference it made. Thankfully, it's already significantly quiet where I live in terms of "annoyance noises" - e. g., no loud music, relentless barking, or loud talking. But even so, there's still some ambient noise coming through the windows and hallway. After applying the sealant, the hallway (outside my door) noise is now just a faint muffle (before I could clearly hear what people were saying, even if they were just speaking in a normal voice), and the ambient noise outside my window cannot be heard at all.And equally important is the change in my room environment. I'm able to maintain a comfortable 73-degree temperature with the AC going on much less often than before. I also had been using three humidifiers to raise the humidity for my plants. Prior to getting the humidifiers, my average humidity ranged from 22 to low 30s in the winter and low 20s in the warmer weather (with the AC on). After getting the humidifiers and BEFORE applying the sealant, I struggled to get the humidity into the high 30s in the living room with THREE 2.2-liter humidifiers in that area. AFTER applying the sealant, I can easily get up to 55" and have been able to reduce the total run time of the humidifiers so that I can maintain my desired goal of 40-45.I have had the sealant on long enough now to see a reduction in my total kilowatt usage per month compared to the same time period and temperature years before. So I would say the sealant has paid for itself in utility savings and ambient comfort (temperature-wise and noise-wise).I should note that the windows and door already had sealant in place, but it was very thin and is likely about 15 years old (when this apartment was first built). I just applied this sealant right on top of the old stuff without ripping it off because it was a perfect fit to give a tight seal.I plan to move at some point hopefully in the near future to a more pedestrian-friendly location, and the apartments where I am on the waiting list are known for being "older, drafty" apartments with increased utility costs in the winter. You can bet I'll be coming back here to order more of this stuff as soon as I'm able to get into the "new" (to me) place, to cut down on those drafts and the utility bill!I'm a happy camper. :)

Dark gray silicone garage door bottom draft stopper
The dark gray silicone garage door bottom draft stopper is helping to keep the near zero degree Fahrenheit outside air out of my garage. Presently, the temperature in my garage is 35 degrees. My extra-wide, two-car garage door is white, and the dark gray color blends best with the concrete driveway. On a warm sunny day, I raised the garage door up to my eye level, and it was relatively easy for this senior citizen to install the silicone weather stripping. I wish I had ordered the widest width weather stripping available because it might work better--either my thirty-year-old steel garage door bottom is not perfectly flat or my concrete driveway is not perfectly level. I added several layers of Gorilla super thick, super adhesive tape ordered from from Amazon to the bottom of the gray silicone garage door weather stripping and no more light is coming from under the garage door!!

Excellent solution to a big garage door gap, but I wouldn’t trust the adhesive strip
Had a big 2”+ gap on the bottom ends of my garage door. None of the thresholds or seals were thick enough to block debris from blowing under the door. This product fixed the problem easily. The adhesive is okay, but I think the surface would have to be just perfect for it to be enough. I stuck it to the door to position it, but I then stapled it in place because I think it wouldn’t stay there for long otherwise.

Good for slider if you install a dog door
This product is what I needed to seal the back side of my bedroom slider after installing a dog door. Soft and easy to use. I could not find a white one at Home Depot or Lowes. A little expensive for what it is. Time will tell of the adhesive holds.

Worth every cent!
I purchased the door sweep for my garage door since there were ants crawling in front the bottom of the door. I was surprised at how easy it was to install the door sweep. I can't speak much for the draft prevention, but it looks well designed to work very well for it. The silicone part is flexible enough to fit any kind or shape of deformity (from a careless accident involving a rake and a closing door.). Overall this is a very good product and gets my thumbs up

Was using for non-traditional purpose (great adhesion)!
I purchased this product to use to keep cords on a movable device from getting caught (I know that makes no sense - but it’s being used to keep cords from getting caught in an elevator shaft - which is now probably leaving you with more questions). What is most important is that the product is just as durable as described and has great adhesion!!!! Other products become (or became, as this was not the first product I tried) loose with time, or you need to “re-stick” or press the sticky part again to get the sweep to stay in place. I have not had to touch this sense I applied it and it is still sticking great.
