Well made and useful. Same price as the big box stores plus or minus a dollar but gas and time are a factor.

Overall, this is an acceptable tool for mudding. The issues are that the edges were raised and I had to sand them down to be able to pull the mud onto the knife. the other issue is the screw in the middle gets caked with dried product and is difficult to clean.

The product is great. The quality is good and the size works well for me. Cleanup is simple too as long as you don't let gobs of mixture to dry.But leaving the premixed cans of drywall mud and moving to powder in a bag? I avoided it for a long time but I'm glad I did.No shrinkage! The extra minutes of mixing and cleaning is way better than reapplying mud two or three times because it sucks into the walls.

It’s my first time using any plaster tools but I really liked this hawk. The mud stays on top and doesn’t slide too easy and it’s a must use tool if your plastering.

Light so won't tire hands for long usage. Works well in application

As I said above very ergonomically fit for your hands.I used the Hawk for several Masonary jobs.
