I bought this as a somewhat joke with my coworkers because I was in charge of a high school field trip and wanted to be able to get their attention quickly. It works. It sends out a very shrill whistle that gets attention at quite a distance. Don't stand directly next to someone and blow it (Oops). Very lightweight and it has become a permanent addition to my teacher lanyard.

I like my granddaughter to walk safely on her college campus or when she hikes in the hills. This whistle is so compact that it can easily attach to a keychain. It is pink and cute so hopefully she will take it. The whistle has a good volume to it. Works well. I bought this for emergency.This can be helpful. Its pretty loud, which i like.Its pretty light and this is durable. Its msde out of alloy.

Whistle seemed like good solid construction but the lanyard snap loop is poor quality. The lanyard broke on the first use and now the whistle is somewhere on a wooded trail never to be found again. I emailed the company because it has a lifetime warranty but never got any reply!

This is a loud, shrill, pealess whistle. I don’t think the sound carries as far as that of my old plastic Shoreline Marine whistle, but the aluminum body seems quite durable and able to take more of a beating, plus the pink color is cute . The included lanyard is wide enough to be comfortable if you add additional items like keys in addition to the whistle.

The whistle is great for children. The whistle doesn't take much to blow for it to be loud. It is metal and very durable.
