Sooooo… I perused a lot of the upscale sites and shops for a tripod lamp and the really nice ones are upwards of $400+. Since I was just looking to fill a corner with a nice floor lamp, I decided to give this one a try because the colors matched what I was looking for. It was a bit of work to put together though not complicated at all. And the end result is stunning!! Better than I expected. The lamp is very light. All the parts fit perfectly and no defects, so I’m happy with the purchase. Just need to secure the wire to one of the legs when I decide which corner to put it in. The exposed cord is quite unsightly!

The lamp comes in a tiny box and you should know that EVERYTHING needs to be assembled, including the lamp shade. The shade comes rolled up and must be attached to two circular rings, that you also have to build. All in all, if you follow the instructions, it's fairly easy to assemble but there are a lot of parts and steps. As an example, each leg has 3 pieces. I'm not very handy, but I was able to build it alone in about an hour. Having said all of that, the pieces were packed well and labeled and the instructions were good. They've also updated the lamp as it now has clips to attach to a leg, to hide the cord. It looks good and for the price isn't a bad lamp, but I'm also not in love with the sturdiness of it. It doesn't have much weight to it.

I got this lamp for my dining room and it is stunning. Easy to assemble and sturdy. The size is perfect and the bulbs I used are bright. I absolutely love the bamboo wooden legs.

I received this lamp two days after ordering and it was super easy to put together. The lamp looks great, is sturdy, and is great quality for the price.

I was a skeptical given the price of the lamp and that the legs are assembled and not solid legs. But after putting it together and setting it up, I am very impressed with the sturdiness and quality of this lamp! In fact, I am so happy I purchased a second lamp. The quality of the cord and switch is frankly excellent (and a surprise). The shade is packed flat and requires assembly. It closes with velcro and went together in a few minutes. Outstanding value for the money! I use mine as accent lighting in my TV viewing room with dimmable iPhone controlled LED bulbs.

Unfortunately, the legs are not one solid wood piece. They come in 3 pieces that have to be screwed together. Part of the unstained wood shows bc the pieces don't perfectly align, but it's in a far corner and I was able to fix it w my wood pen. I will keep this so I can splurge on focal lighting in other areas. The bolts that hold the legs to the light fixture are gleaming chrome/steel but can be fixed w a black sharpie. If you want a focal lamp the different pieces make it look too cheap. If you're ok w it in a far corner, it looks stylish and modern.
