Great Quality Hay
This hay is incredible. I've had animals that eat hay since around 2013 so I have tried several different companies. This is by far the best quality oat hay I have come across. Fresh, green, lots of grassy pieces and oat heads. Really good quality. Image the switch over from small pet select and I'm happy I did.

Nice, green, oatey and easy to use
It's pricey but there's zero waste. SPS brand oat hay has degraded in quality so much that I had to find a new brand. This is so much better! The hay is green, oatey and cut to a manageable length without being mangled and dusty. My rabbit is happy with it, and I don't have a dusty mess on my hands so I like it too.

Update 2022
I love this brand but it gets expensive with 5 rabbits when you can't buy at a bulk discount (I need around 50 lbs of hay and budget around $80), so I don't purchase this hay often. I purchased this as a special treat hay for my buns and noticed some changes from last year. This purchase had quite a bit of unusualable bits and pieces and was a little dusty, which made my buns sneeze a little. Ironically, it has the same texture, color, feel/glossiness and amount of unusualable remnants as the brand Small Pet Select, whereas I remember this product having distinct long stalks that were dry in texture with little to no waste and no dust and the oats were different. I do suspect the hay I received is from Small Pet Select and the pricing per pound is a little cheaper than if I were to purchase directly from Small Pet Select. If that is what is needed to sustain the company, then so be it! I would love to see this company continue to expand and grow as my bunnies had the best poops with Viking Farmer hay. This is a great quality oat hay that is cheaper to buy in bulk! I wish this was offered in larger sizes too! I also tried the pellets as well. The pellets took some time for my rabbits to adjust as they have no additives. It would be nice if there was an option to have just oat pellets instead of just oat/alfalfa as alfalfa after a certain age should be limited in a rabbits diet.

Wonderful organic oat hay for your small animal friends.
Great quality oat hay! It arrived green and full of oat seeds, and my two gerbils ate some this morning. They were pretty gobsmacked by the tastiness and stumbled back to bed after eating quite a bit. So, eight paws up! It looks better than the other more expensive brand I bought in little bags, and the 3 pound box is a bargain. Thanks for making such a fine product for my little guys.

Rabbit loves it, but moths!
Our rabbit is supper picky, and loves this hay. The quality of the hay itself seems amazing! However, I thought I was going crazy when I started noticing moths in my house in zero degree weather here. I jumped to the reviews to see if anyone else has been experiencing this too and it seems like it's a thing. I'll be reaching out to the seller next, but I wanted to let the consumer know that it's something to beware of!

company sells you dust, brown dirty hay and yellow expired hay
stay away from this company and thier oat hay. I bought thier oat hay 1 time many years ago. After this 1 time every other time the quality has gone downhill and ive had to return them. Now its either brown, yellow or just dust. I attached images to show this. Those are not strands you are looking at. if you lift it with your hands it falls right through your fingers and you will even cough from the dust. i would not be surprised if bugs etc were inside and im not digging any further. My guinea pigs did not eat this at all. Also this time they arent even accepting returns claiming brown is normal. please google "oat hay" and show me a picture of oat hay that is brown colored. it is always green. you can google oat hay, timothy hay, etc no hay you find will ever be brown or yellow colored unless its gone bad. expired in human terms.

Very fresh and high quality
My bunnies really enjoy this hay. It’s always green, fresh, and has a nice texture that keeps them coming back for more. I’ve noticed they eat it enthusiastically, which makes me feel good about giving them something they clearly love. It’s consistent in quality, and I haven’t had any issues with it, so it’s become a reliable choice for their diet. The shipping is reliable as well. Will continue to order!

Good for picky eaters
My super picky rabbit will eat this hay! He ignored 4 out of 5 different types hays I’ve tried. Someone said there are oats in here and I panicked for a second. However, the I see only pods and no actual oats, this making it safe for everyday feeding. I will likely be making multiple purchases in the future.
