FINALLY! A laser/Light that fits the Springfield XD Subcompact, Yes, I said SUBCOMPACT, not compact. Now, there are a few things you need to know before you buy this unit. Therefore, here they are:PROS:1. Fits the Springfield XD Subcompact perfectly -See Photos.2. Most all controls are at your fingertips and not hidden behind the trigger guard as many laser/light combos.3. Rails fit perfectly on the XD Subcompact -See photos, but see CONS below.4. The light and laser are bright, and laser is easy to adjust and fairly accurate5. Amazon price is excellent compared to other retailers.6. Packaging includes everything advertised.CONS:1. The Laser/light fits the XD Subcompact perfectly, but you must make adjustments –See Photos.a. Remove the bolt spring and use just the washer to mount the unit to the rails -See Photos.b. If you try to mount the unit with the spring, the bolt will only catch 1 to 1 1/2 threads, and you risk stripping the nut threads and will never be able to mount the light -See Photos, you will see the dowel inserted into the nut with the spring goes almost through the nut. Remove the spring and the bolt goes completely through the nut and you get a very secure fit on the rails –See Photos.2. My unit came with the battery installed. I thought the company forgot the battery. I emailed Troy Butcher, the service rep. The company's communication is fast and excellent. I learned they pre-install the battery. Unfortunately, my battery was drained and I had to recharge it. The charger is a rapid charger, so I didn’t wait long.3. The ON/OFF switch is located on the bottom of the unit, which is fine when turning on the light -See Photos. However, because the switch is flush to the bottom of the unit, it is almost impossible to release switch spring. You will need to use a small BLUNT object, like small dowel, Swiss Army knife attachment, etc. to push the switch into the unit base to turn off the light.So, in spite of the CONS, this unit fits the XD Subcompact perfectly, is bright and easy to adjust, and the price is far lower than many units on the market for the XD Subcompact.

My son loves this. He wanted to add it to his collection. Had bright white light with it as well.

Good value for the price, sturdy.

Fit taurus g3 well. A bit finicky to get both screws mounted in. Instructions are simple and easy. Light is bright enough for the purpose and laser is bright as well.

The battery life last for a long time .

put it on my pistol and first shot with it, it shattered not durable at all and not impressed the light only holds about 1 hr charge on it and every day i have to put it on the charger or else its dead would no recommended

I like the magnetic charging it had for the device it self but if you have a hard case the firearm itself will no longer fit in it obviously so when I have it on i got an extra cloth like material case so I can have it on the firearm and be able to carry it. Overall the device itself is pretty nice.

Great Budget Combo it's super on when adjusted doesn't fall off when shooting. I Love how you can double press the Light button for Shutter Flash and same for the beam 💚💥🔦
