Good, easy to connect KVM switch
I really like this KVM switch. It is very compact. The controller switch it has allows you to hide the KVM behind your PC or equipment. Easy to hook up. It comes with a USB power cable (no power brick is included) but the KVM seems to work without it.

good for a single monitor.
I got this one so I can switch between my work laptop and my personal desktop when I am working from home; and can share one keyboard and mouse.I haven't had any problems switching between the two computers, sharing the wireless keyboard and mouse. The only disadvantage is how you configure your computers. My personal desktop uses the shared monitor as main monitor; my laptop used the shared monitor as a "Extended" every time I switch away my laptop everything ones like there was not extended monitor. Kind of annoying however; it is still better than having none switch. I suppose a more expensive KVM will keep the configuration. However; I think for the price it is really good deal.

Sorta works (revised after receiving replacement)
After several months the audio via the HDMI to my monitor has stopped working. If I move the cable from the switch and directly connect each PC to the monitor the audio works. When plugged into the KVM switch the audio no longer works.Be warned.===RevisedUnfortunately I had to do a return and a completely new order instead of requesting a replacement. That being said the replacement showed un in five days and works 100%. The PC1 USB LED now lights up when there is a connection to the PC. I used the old cables NOT the replacement ones validating thet is was the KVM switch and not the accessory USB cable(s).Very happy, I wish they made a 4 in 1 KVM.===============ORIGINAL REVIEW===========================Received the KVM switch today and immediately installed it to replace a four port KVM.The PC1 (Dell Opti 7050) LEDs shows the HD correctly and does not show green on the USBThe PC2 (Dell Opti 5060) LEDs shows the HD and USB correctlyswitched the two COMPUTERs (no cable changes) and PC1 (now the Dell Opti 3060) continues to show no LED for the USB connection when the PC1 (Dell Opti 7050) shows the HD and USB correctlyThe mouse and keyboard does actually work on PC1 and PC2 regardless of the LED indications.Poor QA and I will be requesting a replacement in a few minutes, so I will find out how good their service group is at replacing it.

Frequent USB disconnects
This works very well for the monitor, but the mouse and keyboard disconnect fairly frequently, requiring me to cycle between PCs to recover them. Fortunately I'm not doing any hardcore gaming, but this is still somewhat frustrating, especially while presenting during a meeting! All in all it's still more convenient than switching cables and dongles, so I still think it presents good value for money. I would give this gadget a 5 if it weren't for the disconnects.Edit: the USB devices now constantly disconnect, staying connected for less than a minute. I've only had this switch for a couple of weeks, so this is pretty disappointing.

Screens yes. USB no!
The GOOD: This KVM switch behaves like all the others I have tried. The screen flips between two pcs with ease and the remote button idea is very handy. I can mount the button anywhere and push it to change. The BAD: The USB sharing is buggy across all devices I have tried thus far. I have tried 2 KVMs and I have read reviews on seperate USB sharing devices and they all seem to cut out intermittently. I was working from home office and my mouse and keyboard turned off. They would switch back to the other pc even if that one was turned off, and come back after a few seconds or not come back at all! This is common occurrence for many users.I will keep this device for the screen switch but I am going to manual plug back and forth with USB extensions mounted for the end of day switch to gaming pc. Untill I find a real solution this will do.
