Have purchased multiple Cole Hersee disconnect switches for 12 volt projects. Amp rating on the switch is modest, will likely hold WAY more than 20 amps continuous. I have used one on a commercial garden tractor w/electric PTO that has a slow drain on the battery even when off, installed this and no more drain. Switch has not failed after a year of use in a commercial grade setting. Was a quick solution verses fixing the problem (which since has been done). I also use these in building portable 12VDC/120VAC power stations that contain up to a 750 watt power inverter. Will hold the amperage and does not hinder the inverter power at all. Amazon shipping times are always accurate and pricing is good.

This switch works well and the mechanism feels quite firm to engage it. It has worked well so far. Has heavy copper terminals on back with 3/8 NF thread. It can be mounted to panels up to maybe only 1/8 inch thick.

Ordered this battery cutoff seitch for my RV. Item came in 9 days after ordering, with free shipping. This is a solid heavy duty unit, but doesn't come with a faceplate. No biggie. Make sure you have 3" of clearance to properly mount this switch. I'd recommend this to purchase.

I used it on my John deere 350c and it fits and works perfectly.

I tow my car behind my RV and to keep it in neutral, I have to disconnect the car battery to stop all the car computers from going crazy. Unfortunately, my battery is under the passenger floor (remove the mat, pull back the carpet, remove a rigid foam insert that provides the backing/shape for the passenger foot well, then do the disconnect). That got old, fast. So now, when the car is hooked up and ready to tow, reach around and turn a switch. Sigh, heaven!
