I've bought several of these in both shapes and I absolutely love them!! They fit so much more then it looks like. I get such a nice loaf for the 2 of us for the week. But you can also add less and they're an awesome size for gifting to friends and family!!! I like the oval shape also because I like that shape better for sandwiches. After baking, I let it dry out completely, and use a dry brush to brush off any extra rice flour or any dough bits that stuck. Although I've never had my bread stick at all. So, super easy to use and clean. Super nice quality, especially for the price!!! Customer service is SO great! They have been so kind in answering me when I had any questions about loaf size and things.

These bannetons are well made as is the liner. The only thing I would say is I didn't realize how short 8" baskets were and will be ordering 10" next time. Regardless the loaves are cute, smaller than expected, but tasty and a great size for my jalapeño cheddar sourdough loaves!

I wanted to make smaller loaves that actually fit in my Dutch oven. These have worked perfect and they're easy to keep clean.

These bannetons are true to the listed size, but still surprising when you see them in person. They look so small. But they easily hold 1000g flour weight recipe between the two of them, and you get nicely shaped, full size batards. The quality isn't that great, though, and mine had splinters and gaps. I don't think I would use them without the liners, so if you're looking for those neat, decorative lines, you might want to try another brand. Otherwise, they do exactly what they are supposed to do.

These make spectacular bread. If you want it spectacular, load with 600g (total flour) recipe, which is about the most they can hold. They're probably intended for 500g. If you do a top stitch with these at 600g, you'll get explosively high oven lift and you'll think it's the best bread you've ever made. That was my first reaction.

I like this size for a 500g flour sourdough loaf. It ensures I get tall loaves by forcing bread upwards on the banneton. Easy to clean!
