Urth Lens Mount Adapter: Compatible with Olympus OM Lens to Micro Four Thirds (M4/3) Camera Body

Nice protective packaging. Item well made. Secure when fitted. The 1970's OM lenses from Olympus can now be used with the modern Olympus OMD 1/5/10 mirrorless cameras. I was nervous about ordering from Urth/Gobe as I find their their of the range lenses overpriced and quality control pitiful. Their customer service deliberately obstructive. Even though they have a lifetime guarantee they never have to my knowledge come through. This item works well however.

I inherited 3 FD lenses and bought the FD to MFT adapter. All 3 lenses work fine with my G7, full manual control available, the only thing to be aware of, I found that the iris control on the adapter needs to be turned towards the ‘l’ position, which I think is fully closed, when attaching the lens - if you don’t you will find some lenses won’t function ie. the iris ring will not turn.

Very good quality for reasonable price. I do respect the company even more for eco boxes and the fact that they planting trees after sale. ;)

Feels very sturdy and brings my old manual lenses back to life. Very good feeling to know 5 trees get to be planted. Arrived amazingly early on expectations.

Nifty little adapter, aperture ring turns with just the right amount of resistance. Used with a Minolta lens on an olympus om-d e-m10 mark ii body. There's little in the way of knowing precisely what aperture you're shooting at unless wide open or closed down so not the best for every shooter.Overall solid little adapter with aperture ring but lack of scale not for everyone.

I bought it to adapt my Olympus digital camera for old lenses. Requires manual setting of speed, aperture and focus when using with old Olympus lenses.

If you are planning to use it with Nikon 10-105mm on micro 4/3 don't as unable to close focus (within minimum focusing distance) from 18 to 35. Seems solid enough but for above mentioned reason just a 1 star.

As I said it works, after trying a few other makes.Very well made and used to connect my old Olympus OM-1 lens to new OMD camera.
