Arrived quickly.
I enjoyed the whistle; and it was easy to play; but had to toss it. It made my lips break out. Maybe it was just me, so I still gave it a 5 star. But if you are someone who might be sensitive to some types of plastic; pass it by.

Fun tin whistle. Ad needs to be clearer though.
Ok. So I'm keeping it because this tin whistle is the cheapest price around, but I thought I hit the jackpot when the picture showed a box of ten and the advertisement under it was bulk whistles for school. I thought I was getting 10 whistles for this super cheap price of $10.95. I got the package today and to my dismay there was only one whistle. I should have read the fine print. I must say it still is the cheapest price around for this whistle. I just tried it out and really like it and maybe will purchase a few more for my nephews who are just starting to discover playing music. The delivery was fast too. Thanks music store!

Disappointing. Bad batch?
I bought one of these at a music store and was so disappointed that I figured I got a dud. It was very raspy, cracked easily, poorly tuned, and loud. Tone sounded like a toy instrument, not something you could actually play.So I returned it and thought I got a dud since this is so well-reviewed here and on YouTube by testers and professionals who recommend it to beginners.I bought one on Amazon, and found it only a little bit better than the one I returned at a music store. It’s a touch less raspy and less toy-sounding, but still quite disappointing. I kept it because it was my first whistle and I thought I’d get better with time. I did, but the whistle is still just as bad. I found the next whistle I bought, a Clarke Sweetone, to be much better.Maybe they made not only a dud one, but a dud batch? Or I just got unlucky and got two duds in a row?

Excellent
About as good a brass whistle as you will find.

Easy to learn and fun.
Learning to play county roads among other songs was interesting. I bought one because of a tin whistle lover on twitter. It is very well made and clearly Irish.

Well made
Bought this for my grandson. Who is musically inclined. He is enjoying it. I did not realize that these penny whistles come in different keys, but it is still good sounding.
