I ordered these for my Wife to replace her ageing set but unfortunately these are just to big for her as she has mobility problems and finds it hard to hold much weight, so in the end I gave these to my Daughter who absolutely loves them.These are well made and have nice smooth edges so no Sharpe parts to catch you. There is a grip that I found easy to use that holds the hair in place ready to take the curl and the surface is very smooth so it just glides through the hair without catching or grabbing. When my Daughter had used them for the first time she reminded me of the 1980's glamour looks, lol, but for her to manage that on the first use these must be good and easy to use.many years ago I had purchased some WAHL hair clippers which are still going strong so I believe these will last.On use, these heat up within just a few minutes and create large full curls, you can adjust the heat, so I assume that for a looser curl or for damaged hair you would just use a lower temperature. The mains cord isn't massively long but so long as you sit near to a plug socket you shouldn't have any problems, my Daughter hasn't had an issue with using them at all.Well built, large tongs and good value,Recommended.

Doesn’t curl well at all. , no grip and the buttons turn it off every time you use it. I have medium hair my daughter thick hair and both of thought it was an utter waste of money.

This pro shine curling tong with ceramic coated and keratin infused barrel (32mm) is ready/hot in seconds.I like that the barrel is coated in keratin as it helps to protect hair from heat - it is very important for me as my hair are very fine.I found it very easy and straightforward to use, however a very good instruction manual in English is attached if needed.It has an on/off button, two buttons to adjust temperature up/down and very useful easy to read temperature display.Temperature can be set in between 80 and 210 degrees C.This curling tong provides long lasting, soft and shiny curls, my hair looks now like they have bigger volume which is what I was after.The tong looks well made without any imperfections. It is easy and comfortable to hold/grip even for longer.The cable is of a very good lenght, approx. 3m with UK plug.I like that this device has 60 minutes auto shut off.It arrived nicely boxed, so would be suitable for a present.Great value for money, excellent quality, works well, I like its rotating tip, so I would happily recommend this curling tong.

Overall it's a great tool but I have never burned myself ad badly with any other tool. The clasp is not safe as it's only partially covered in protective material. Tiny slip and your fingers are fried. It should be sold with heatproof glove. Get one before buying it. I also think that making heating elements different colour would help. I learned the hard way :(

It’s great value for money and does what it says on the tin.. however as a professional I find the tool clunky and awkward to use in comparison with some sleeker wand options without the tong lever. Personal preference may be the case, but I wouldn’t buy again.

These hair curlers do exactly what they are designed to do and they do it pretty well too. Much easier than some on the market.I’ve heard do Wahl, in fact, I’ve used several products from them, such as hair clippers and have found them to be well made products. And this one doesn’t disappoint.It’s a good size, 380mm long, with 200mm of that being the heat plates, and no more than about 30mm in diameter, and heats up quickly enough.The handle area is easy to grip so there’s less chance of it slipping in your hand and causing an accident.The lever on the top, the one you need to press to open the curler head, is a good size and easy to manoeuvre without having to be double-jointed. The size also helps in keep thumbs away from the heated ends.The stand was a little problematic and kept flipping backwards, dropping the heated end onto the surface, but a bit of twiddling and this sorted itself out. Plus, the stand can double up so you can hang this off a hook.The end, or what Wahl call the cool top, rotates 360º which makes it easier to turn the curlers without burning you fingers.In all, a good quality product from a known brand which is well worth the money.

The WAHL pro-shine curling tongs are some of the best I have used; I have recently acquired majority of the WAHL Pro range and the curling tongs are an excellent addition to it’s current line up.The barrel on these curlers 32MM, is a really nice size, the bigger barrel is really nice to work with and allows you to achieve big natural curls - you can easily create dramatic looks, tight curls and it styles the hair easily. The keratin ceramic coated barrels is supposed to protect the hair, whilst giving it a shiny finish. I must say after using this curler, my hair looks shiny and looks healthy. My hair stays curly after I’ve used these and the curls don’t drop out straight away. Great for curly or wavy hair types.Variable temperature control allows you to control the temperature whilst styling, they heat up really quickly - the safety tip at the end of the barrel is really convenient and provides additional safety when using the curler, protects your fingers whilst being able to turn the barrel easily.I’m really satisfied with these curling tongs, they are exceptional quality - they feel really durable/sturdy, and I would say they are suitable for use in a salon.

It gets as hot as it’s supposed to. Only thing, after use, my room smells like I’ve burned my hair but I haven’t (at 180 degrees) not sure if I’m using it too high. Also the curls will not hold when I comb through the hair. So I suggest finger combing and using a setting spray
