cover is a bit sticky
prying the top loose so i could snap it off made me worry something would break, nothing did, but only cause i was very delicate. a future version with another 10-15mm for a tall pi hat and a protective channel for power/hdmi cables, so everything comes out the port end would be nice. bought something with an antenna connector on top that just won't fit, i'll need two boxes. it's far nicer than the hammond case i've been using, and they make great stuff, problem is, with it, stuff hangs out the ports and can get bumped.

Professional look, fierce fan!
When I first got into the Stratux world I was seeing all kinds of DIY homemade project boxes, I liked the idea of ADS-B In for under $150 and finding the right case was critical since I didn't want to be that Arduino guy at the airport. This Summitlink case did the job. I was expecting a 3D printed plasticky box but instead got a very nice professional sturdy plastic case.I initially mounted the Pi slanted accidentally, and then closed the case shut hard on one side, WHOOPS. Well the plastic clips were up against the Raspberry Pi, so it was really hard to pull the cover off. I'm thankful that this isn't cheap plastic or else I would've broken a clip or two when I carefully pried it open again. This case can take a beating so it's road worthy.I like the extra cooling vents, and the holes designed for other equipment such as the GPS cable. It's well thought out.Final thoughts, I wanted to add AHRS and the device I wanted to add was the "Stratux AHRS Sensors and Fan Controller " but I asked around and apparently it wont fit with the plastic cover shut, the antenna cable and fan are in the way. Maybe the future version will have extra height clearance for this little AHRS sensor.Good box, definitely gets attention. Highly recommended!

Solid product
Great case, everything fits pretty good. I felt the antenna connectors needed more room though. There were also no instructions for connecting the fan wire to the pins on the motherboard. I had to Google a schematic. Otherwise a great product. It's roughly the same size as my charger and I was able to set them up together with a ram mount using parts I already had. See pic.

Looks good, but does not fit GPYes
Its nice how small this case is compared to others; That said, it does not fit the AHRS (pretty clear) OR the internal GPS-the antenna wires push the GPS out of the USB. it also forces the antenna cables back. The mounting screw/swivel is nice, though!

compact fit
This case is great for a Stratux project. The 2 NESDR's have to be diagonal in order to fit, but that is due to the Raspberry Pi USB spacing. The USB cover barely fits over the two NESDR minis - another mm or 2 would make it easier, but it does fit. Cooling hasn't been a problem, with the temp only getting up to 55C in the sun on the car dash. OAT of 75F. I wonder if a RPi standard heat sink would fit if needed. Great case for a Stratux.
