Lund 4444 Challenger Series 44" Brite Utility Chest with Handles

Three of the four corners were dented and one corner had a hole. This was delivered in a cardboard box. There were no extra layers or styrofoam padding to protect the chest. The aluminum was thin and the thickness was not listed in the specifications or description.

I received box in good shape but only has 1 strut instead of 2,also missing J bolts .also can not find ph# to call.but box is good.

1) Great space. 2) There is only ONE strut; NOT TWO as advertised. 3) Amazon stated it will fit in my 2012 Colorado; it does not. 4) Mounting hardware and (lock) keys were not included. The missing mounting hardware isn't a big deal since It wont fit against the cab but the keys...?

better packing needed front caved in about 1 1/2 inches easily repaired but it could have been much worse other than that very nice tool box

This is not a no drill box. There were no J Bolts included, and there are no pre-drilled factory holes for mounting with J Bolts. I had to drill the holes in the box and my bed rails to mount it myself.The box does not seem very well constructed, with poor welds. After cutting my finger I had to grind several welds smooth as they had very sharp points. I didn't really notice all of this until half way through mounting it so I'm not returning it. I'll just cross my fingers and hope for the best.

Looked like good quality, but it arrived badly damaged so we returned it. I bought a similar one local instead

I wanted a chest type box for my truck rather than a cross-over because I have a Trac-Rac ladder rack on it and I wanted to be able to remove it relatively easy. I am very pleased with the quality of the box and the aluminum is actually heavier than I expected. It is big enough to hold what I want to put in it and the handles make moving it around very easy. I also plan to run a cable with locks through the handles to each side of my truck to prevent theft. I am very happy with the box and Amazon offered the best price after extensive shopping. Shipping was free and prompt, so I am very pleased with the purchase.

I received this today. Installed it in the bed of my truck and it is ready for action. Seems to be very well built. Will find out soon when I take it across Nevada and Utah on unmaintained roads.
