Dewhel Front Bumper Aluminum JDM Tow Hook License Plate Mount Bracket Holder Bolt On Fits Toyota GT86 Scion FRS BRZ

So I've had my car(2016 FRS) for a little while now and my car did not come with a mount for a license plate, so I decided it was time to buy one and this was the one I chose. First let me start by saying that I was skeptical on buying this product because it only had a 3 1/2 stars I usually ignore those under 4 stars, but nevertheless I ordered it anyways because I was being a little cheap, so the product came a day late but it was no big deal, pretty sure it wasn't the distributors fault, but it did come nicely in a box with all of its components. The one main con about this that I can think of it that it requires u to have your own wrench of some sort to truly tightly everything up because hand twisting is not strong enough, but I have to say this mount was a great buy!! It was sturdy easy to install(no instructions but it's not hard at all) and it does the job!! Some people are saying that it sticks out too much but in my opinion the length is perfect! It even comes with two little heads that you can choose from to attach to get more or less length. I'll include some pictures of my car after the install. Overall 5 stars!

Purchased this for my girlfriend's 2014 Subaru BRZ and I will be comparing it to the Grimmspeed one I have for my 2015 WRX.The tow stud is aluminum and pretty soft. Make sure you use some sort of grease before screwing it in (I used lithium grease). Once it went in I used the smaller aluminum adapter and made sure it was nice and tight alongside the bolt. I attached the plate that holds the license plate with the allen screw and I made sure it was really, really tight. It took the paint off a little bit, but it doesnt matter since it's going to sit behind the plate anyway. I attached the license plate with the supplied screws and voila! Everything works and looks great.Very close to the bumper with the smaller adapter for the B-Z, very sturdy if properly installed and tightened and way cheaper than a $75 Grimmspeed one. Would definitely recommend this if you do no want to drill holes in your BRZ's bumper.It doesnt adjust to fit the curvature of the bumper like the more expensive ones, but again if properly installed, looks very sturdy and clean on a BRZ and very close to the bumper as well with the smaller adapter.Very happy with the purchase, and will purchase in the future.

I don't like running front plates especially having them in the middle of the bumper. I bought this mount in order to comply with IL law. The mount is perfect. It doesn't protrude and sits pretty close to the bumper with a little bit of manipulation. The only negative about this is that the main screw holding the license plate bracket to the tow hook bolt cannot be tightened enough. I didn't want to over torque the screw. With that said, if given enough force the license plate holder will rotate. Not a big deal for me. I just don't touch it, just set it and forget it. I have in one for several months now and it hasn't moved on its own from vibrations, motion etc. Worth every penny just to avoid a ticket from the police.

New 86 Driver here, got my car back in January and I love it. My bro recommended that I buy the Tow Hook License Plate Mount but he linked me the Grim Speed one (he got his car back in 2013, so that one was the only one that was available.)The Grim Speed Mount is about 70 to 80 dollars. Saved a whole lot of money buying this one which more or less does the same job... --very easy to install. The mount is sturdy and stiff. Some people might be wondering if the vibrations caused by driving lessens the mount. So far, that's a big no, but it doesn't hurt to check up on it every so often, like when you wash your car.I included a pokemon in my picture because I snapped the pic for something else, but figured it be fun to include it in the review.

Used this for my 2015 Scion FRS. This is probably the worst license plate bracket you can get. The backing to the plate barely covers the back to the license plate so your license will get warped from high winds while driving. The bolts are cheap as dirt and loosen from regular driving. I had to remove mine completely because it spun from driving. I drive 5 minutes to work on local roads I don't even get on the highway regularly with my car and this bracket cant even with stand that. Don't buy this product

Was really only good for getting out of fix it ticket the center screw gets loose and plate spins around

The installation was straightforward and easy. The sturdiness is good BUT there’s some room to play with the direction of the whole plate itself. If you tighten the screws well enough, there should be no problem with that even on the freeway but if someone was to walk in front of your car and accidentally move the plate with their leg, it’d definitely look and be crooked. Other than that, it’s a good product for its price! Buy it!

No instructions needed if you know what your doing. All hardware is included only 1 L wrench might need a small wrench to hold the other end from spinning. Overal looks great and Simple’s installation but honestly the car looks better without plates lol.

Didn't fit, thread on the mount is way to big for the tow hook socket.
