Buyer beware/great shoe
Received used shoes from the seller Zappos Retail, Inc. The shoes have black marks on the inside of the shoe and insole. Zappos Retail, Inc. posted the shoe as brand new. Very disappointed and will not buy from Zappos Retail, Inc.The shoe however is great, very comfortable and stylish. I will buy another pair and recommend the product. Great works shoe, while also great to wear going out.

Chinese shoes for Chinese feet
I'm not a racist, so it's not about the Chinese. But the truth is, some years ago when CH still was an american company, there were no such issues. I'm talking about the fact that these shoes are made for narrow long feet.I don't have any excessive weight: it is 83kg with 182cm height, I swim for 38 yrs every morning for 3 hrs. And I always purchase normal footwear from any manufacturer: I don't need any special width, M is always fine even for oxfords. I wear CH for years and, again, I never had any sizing issue: my size with CH is 10, the same as with Tod's, Brunello Cucinelli and such. Now, since the moment CH became totally Chinese, they started to produce the shoes that I can't wear. Earlier I purchased the sandals 1 size bigger (11) and I had to throw them into the garbage (together with 100 USD that they costed) as 20 minutes walk always resulted in bloody blisters. These shoes I purchased because I wanted something casual and couldn't find anything else made of wool.1st, the insides of these shoes are made of some man-made technologically advanced material. It's a strange solution as purchasing the shoes made of wool you expect something natural. Well, no, it's pretty much like a rubber.2nd, it's impossible to wear these shoes out-of-the-box as they are very narrow in the upper part and lacing them I always get a "V". And even then, after 10 minute walk the feet start to hurt.It took me some time to get them to a shoe master: he stretched them for another 50USD and now I wear them and all is fine. I can't say though that I'm really happy about this. This is the 1st time I had to stretch the shoes I bought.I believe I'll have to stop purchasing CH shoes: I'm done with them, really. Old stock - yes, that's fine. But these new CH shoes - they don't cost their money and they are not for me.
