Brighter Blooms - Pink Knock Out Rose Tree, 3-4 ft. - No Shipping To AZ

I really like the color of the roses, they will look really wonderful in my planters on the front porch. The tree stem is straight and strong, but there were broken branches on each tree (I bought 2 rose trees)...not sure how to help that packing process, as they were probably broken in transit?I received some great materials on how to unpack and care for my trees, along with access to an 800# for customer service. I will definitely order from Brighter Blooms again, and refer my friends and anyone that asks about them this summer!

The box the tree came in was quite sturdy. The tree was full leafed out, no dead leaves. One reason I chose this option was the "drop in" planting bag. This consisted of a plastic bag with a burlap bag full of mulch inside. The tree itself was sitting on top of the mulch barerooted. I did plant the tree, filled the hole with planting soil. That was about two weeks ago. The tree appears to be doing well, and actually has three roses bloomed. With the exception of the packaging, pleased with the transaction.

SECOND UPDATE: NEW ROSE BUSH CAME WORSE THAN THE FIRST... I am never using this company again I am very disappointed. You would think they'd send a beautiful bush to an unhappy customer. I never complain but how many times do i have to insult my mother with these roses for mothers day...UPDATE: they helped me immediately and sent me a new rose bush for my mother. Great customer service Thank you!!I rarely ever request refunds on products I buy (which is a ton!) This one was an exception. My mother loves rose bushes so I purchased this for her for mothers day. I opened the box and was disappointed. The buds were dying and the ones that were bloomed looked sad and depressing. Nevertheless, my mother said no worries well give it some water and see if it will bounce back in the ground. It has gotten worse and on its last leg now. I feel that I was given a rose bush that never had a fighting chance from the beginning. It was just sad to give my mother these roses which I paid decent money for, and not see them bounce back. We have a ton of rose bushes, and this one was worth getting my money back (sorry).

I was unable to find this rose tree locally in southern California, so I took a chance on this nursery in South Carolina. The rose tree arrived early in great condition (roots were still moist) even after such a long trip. Two months after planting it was in full bloom and looking beautiful. Unfortunately I was unable to post a photo to show everyone - sorry about that.

The rose came as a an old smooth stick, with at the top sticking perpendicularly growing in one direction a little bus of leaves and flower buds.h. Together this thing is so ugly that my teeth hurt.. With such invalid body structure, there is no way in the world that it can ever grow into a regular form. I have planned to put this three in front of my house,like my neighbor, who has some first class rose trees. I would be ashamed to show him mine. It needs to go into a far corner of the garden, where nobody can see I am astonished that somebody dared to send a customer such a faulty product. So sorry, I thought better of Brighter Blooms.

Nov 13 reviewAs below I mentioned that it was DOA. It has now been an additional two weeks so now a month. It is looking better and finally has two blooms on it. It might live.Nov 3 review : I bought this a few weeks ago and while I saw someone had an issue with it arriving near death, I figured they had a bad plant since sometimes it takes a while for plants to handle being transplanted. So I bought one. It also arrived looking like it was completely dead on arrival. Ok, fine, the stress of transport can affect anyone really. So I planted it where I had just removed some lantana. Roses and lantana are often companion plants so their soil needs are pretty close. I gave it some plant food specially designed for knockout roses and gave it some water. We've been raining decently so I've just been periodically checking it's soil. So far it has not sprung back to life and still looks as lifeless as when I planted it. It's been two weeks.

The plants came in two boxes one box was OK ( just real tiny plant for the pot) but the other one with two plants in it was terrible....plants had been shaken out of their pots and floppying around with bare roots exposed in the box. Plus way smaller than what most two gallon plants are. They are in the two gallon pot but not a two gallon plant in the pot. They are barely 12 inches tall if that. So not worth 59.99 EACH!!!!! I'm embarrassed I even believed since they were on Amazon they would be somewhat nice. One plant the leaves are all completely yellow and its in shock. All the buds are bent over. My gardener instinct took over immediately when I saw this horror..........and I put them in a nice pot. Two of them are so small they easily fit in a medium sized pot.Now I'm getting so mad thinking about I paid over 100 dollars too much for these rose bushes. I am wishing I had sent the boxes right back!! I deserve 100 bucks back for them easy. That's even allowing them to make what Lowe's wants for them at full price. BUYER BEWARE!!!

The rose bushes were beautiful, unfortunately the delivery driver turned the box up on end instead of keeping it flat, it was delivered before I got home, if I hadn't got home to unpackage them when I did, they would have died, one was falling out of it's pot, so far they have both survived, delivery drivers should be more careful and read boxes instead of throwing them around.
