Not a great radio but it works. Good for outside listening when you find reception. Has an ok speaker and headphones but what do you want for under $10. It's a decent purchase.

This little radio has a good speaker and very good reception. The "lanyard" is actually an antenna. I use this radio indoors, so I have no need for a lanyard, which is a bit stiff. For better reception and to keep it from tangling, I just snipped one part of the loop of the antenna/lanyard near the top of the radio so I could stretch it out over the side of the shelf its sitting on. It works great. The battery life is also good. Very happy with this little radio. Will buy another if anything happens to this one.

I bought this radio because I wanted a small radio that fit in my pocket and had a speaker. The reviews were so great that I was sure that I would like it. First, the sound is good for the size of the radio. The main problem, which is clear enough in the photo if you look closely, is that the tinted window over the tuning dial is so dark that it is VERY difficult to see the dial in good light; impossible in low light. A second idiosyncrasy that makes tuning the radio weird is that when you roll the dial wheel up, the dial indicator goes down, not up; who missed that design element?IN MY PHOTO; the round dot at the top of the dial window is the radio signal indicator to help you find the center of a station; the slight blip on the dial between the 800 and 1000 AM stations is the station indicator.

Ok, I don't leave reviews so to cut out all the reviews done by picky people who will leave dump reviews like, this pocket knife is to sharp even though the photos of it are kin to a switch blade. That said I received this cheap lil radio and it works great. I ride motorcycles all over the country and just wanted a radio with a speaker and that is what I got. It's not a i pod, its not a base boost rapper boom box, but if you want some tunes and to get some talk radio with out a 200$ portable then buy this one. And please people quit crying about cheap stuff not working like your friends high dollar s#/#!!!

Pro: worked perfect for my need. Value priced!Cons: antenna cord is too small to fit over my head. Antenna is a little weak and directional.

Very hard to see channel position. Just okay for daily use. Uses up batteries fast. I didn't expect much for the price so I wasn't too disappointed. Used mainly to listen to early morning news. Will be handy in case of a power outage. The outer shell is sturdy and sleek.

I bought this to listen to at work. it is small and fits in my pocket and no one knows I am listening to it, especially my bosses. I do data entry and it can be boring so I pop the earbud in and my work zooms by. It gets great reception even when hidden in my pocket.

This is a useless radio and a total waste of money. The tuner doesn't work. It can only find one or two stations and plays them no matter where you are on the dial. Hopeless.
