Q: Does the fabric soften after washing?

I have not washed it as it is the top cover on a cabin bed and they are not used very often sorry I can not help it would probably soften if dried but I am also more of a dry cleaner then a washer of my bedspreads and quilts

Q: I have ordered a few quilt comforters over the last few years only to be disappointed in it coming apart! Is the quality decent wih this comforter?

The quality is very good. Well put together and the stitching is really holding up. The only thing that I was surprised about is that it is very thin. If you use this in the wintertime, and you live in a colder climate, you may need a blanket or two. It is really more of a bedspread than a comforter, in terms of thickness.

Q: Does this have teal in it?

Hi there - The blue in this spread is closer to cerulean. However, the cerulean is next to green so in my opinion teal sheets or drapes (if that's what you're thinking of. I have no idea) could work. Good luck!

Q: Is the fabric some what durable? I have two dogs and have had pro lems with their nails snagging thin material.

The material is not as heavy as an expensive quilt I have bought, but I would say it's certainly more durable than the cheaply made comforters you find in the discount stores. The quilting threads are single strand standard thread weight and it's fairly tightly woven, just not as heavy or tough as I've seen. Depending on the dog you have it might be ok. Tiny little claws might be harder on it than those of a medium or large dog. For the money it is a nice quilt. Hope this helps!
