This is a very nice display case. The lock works fine. (I've read reviews criticizing similar ones regarding the cheap lock).... Folks... These are three pounds, glass top.... Security? Seriously?..... lol if a "burglar" sees it, do you really think they'll leave if it's locked? I digress.... Ours arrived in perfect condition.... Very well constructed... I've got a couple large watches, fit nicely in top and bottom. Nice and square so the lid fits perfect.... For the money, this is a great deal... Only problem.... It holds 20, I only have 19.... Off to the store I go woo hoo...

This box is real wood and well-crafted. I don't find the color "too red," in fact, it matches my cherry wood armoire and bedroom furniture. The lock works but is more ornamental so I don't plan to use it. The window is real glass. With the promo discount, this box ends up being just 10 bucks more than the cheapest faux leather type.

Outstanding product. This product is made of real wood and class unlike similar products made of fake leather or veneered MDF. The color appears intensely red and a bit cheap in the pictures. However, the product in person is stately, refined, and well presented. This product is not for the man who has everything. It is for the successful man that has most things.

A must have for the watch collector, prior to this I had several watches laying around on the dresser. This has brought order and elegance to that space. I think of it as a jewelry box for men.
