Superb phone for the money
So, I own a top end Samsung for work and for the last few years have been using recycled iPhones (7&8) for my personal phone. This phone quite simply blows them away. This is a big, hefty phone that is encouraging from the start. It has a nice design and once in a black carbon fibre looking case looks like a premium phone, not that it looks bad anyway.I suppose this phone and whether you will like it comes down to who you are and what you want from a phone. I am a 40+ guy who is pretty tech savvy but wants a phone to message, chat, take a few pics and play a few games mixed with the odd movie. I am not an influencer, social media nut, instagramer, or anything like that. I can afford more expensive phones but I am the kind of guy who appreciates value for money and I hate wasting money on things that are overpriced.Which is why I love this phone. The screen is fine for all normal uses, the speakers are everything you need, the camera perfectly acceptable and the speed as good as anything else. It was really easy to transfer from iOS using phone clone (I was worried about that) apart from apps I had to add manually. The phones actual buttons and swipes are somewhere between apple and Samsung but were easy enough to figure out. The battery is nothing short of epic. When you can get this much phone brand new for £150 I have no idea how companies get away with charging £1000 for their phones or why people pay for them. If you get your phones for free from work or are rich enough to not care then stick with whatever. However if you have been buying used iPhones or similar then get over the whole image thing and buy one of these. You won't regret it.

Excellent phone, features at a great price!
I purchased this phone for my mum's birthday not wanting to spend a huge amount of money and wanting to get all the best features.I have to say I'm very impressed with this phone! The phone itself is bigger than most (a little bigger than a Huawei P20 Pro) battery life is good, memory and features are all great!I looked around before purchasing this phone to see what I could get for my money and happy to say I made the right choice! If you're looking for a great phone with good features, build quality and not wanting to pay a huge amount of money I don't think you will get any better than this!I've a very happy mum and would consider looking at their premium range myself in the future.

Oppo a5 2020 black. Compromised camera
So this isn’t going to be an in depth review. It was bought for my daughter so trying to get her phone from her is harder than prising a pound from a misers hand.Good things first. Included in the box were some basic headphones and a TPU case which were a nice bonus. Charging plug and type c usb. Good to see this is type c. Type b is now redundant but some manufacturers are still using type b at this price point. The phone is quite big but not too big and comfortable to hold. Screen to body ratio is good. Bezels are not the skinniest but still reasonable at this price point. It's an LCD screen, no amoled here but hey it’s a sub £100 phone and to my eyes picture clarity and brightness was very good. Dual speaker speaker set up was, well, very impressive actually. Sound was very clear and not too tinny and on top volume quite loud with very little distortion. Again you have to remember it’s sub £100. My daughter reports battery life is excellent getting at least 2 days from a full charge. A 5000 amh battery at this price point is very impressive. No getting away from the fact that the phone has a shiny plastic back and doesn’t feel premium but I’ve seen worse and you could always fit a leather case on it. 64gb of storage is generous but with only 3gb ram it will struggle with multi tasking however it will be fine for day to day use. Biggest negative is the camera. It will adequately take photographs in good outdoor lighting but struggles indoors with less than perfect lighting. I tried to improve this by tweaking the settings and installing a good 3rd party camera app but this actually made things worse. The camera hardware just wasn’t up to the job. It’s really not a good camera even at this price point. So would I recommend the Oppo a5 2020. Actually yes I would if you want an adequate daily driver that will do most things well, don’t want to spend more than £100 and are willing to accept the camera limitations.

GREAT PHONE FOR THE MONEY
Didnt really know anything about this make but looking for a smart phone on Amazon came across this at a reduced price. I have had lots of smart phones over the years, most recently an iPhone 11. Value for money this is the best I have ever had.Battery life is exceptional. Comes with a gel case, and fitted screen protector.Whilst this phone is not quite as good as the iPhone 11 (not sure about the camera as I dont take photos) bear in mind that this phone is 1/6th the price of the Iphone; I did not find much difference in day to day use other than the obvious variations of Android and iOS.Two points worth mentioning. Wifi calling now works after the recent upgrade to Android 10 version of the Oppo OS. After the upgrade Touch ID stopped working but I quickly found a solution via a video on Google.Recommended.

Brilliant phone for the price.
Brilliant smartphone for the price. Just as good if not better than major brands at eight times the cost. Great dual speaker sound quality. Great screen quality, clear and bright, Easy system set up from out of the box. Updates to Android 10 as soon as requested. Plenty of room for the apps of your choice, as NOT full of bloatware.Battery life seems pretty good but then it's only a few months old, so I will update review in a few months time.

Bargain phone perfect for basic use
Very impressed with this so far, only had it about 5 days. Seems a bargain at £100. Face recognition is faster than my Samsung A71, which retails at over £400. Software nice, performance is fine for my use, which is just video, apps and web browsing. Camera is fine for the money and it even has NFC for Google Pay payments as well. Came with a case in the box, which was a nice surprise. Nice and light to hold, despite having a 5000mAh battery, which is very good. Makes you realise what a rip off some of these premium phones are.
