Eco Living Plastic Free Eco Bath Brush, 100% Plastic free, Suitable For Vegans, FSC Certified.

I purchased this because my last bath brush started to develop mould on the brush head after just a couple months' usage (I have only just started using the Eco Living one, so it remains to be seen whether that starts developing mould as well). But so far, I am impressed by the design - long, curved handle and a large brush area with densely packed bristles that are stiff enough to really do the job. The quality also seems to be very good - the wood used; the material used the band on the back of the brush, etc. It is expensive but I was willing to pay for it to avoid plastic - not only for environmental reasons but also for durability. All the other wooden brushes I looked at had the bristles attached to a plastic backing, and I saw reviews saying the plastic had cracked and/or the bristles were falling out. In general, Eco Living seems to produce good, solid products - I recently also purchased their wooden dish brush (not from Amazon), and the design was so much better than anything else I'd seen.

This is a lovely long bath brush with strong bristles. Looks good and works very well; reaches to feet and toes; feels good to the skin. Disappointed however that the wood of the brush itself splintered in one place when it dried out after first use. Not sure how well it will last and would have hoped for better quality at this price. I will probably sand it down and revarnish it.
