Nice upgrade from stock fence
Installed on a 2002 MiniMax MM16, basically a SCMI 16" band saw. It was a little work as the old fence bolted up through the bottom of the table, as opposed to through the front edge as on the Rikon. It required that I machine off/remove the pads that the the bolts threaded into from the old fence to make room for the new hardware for the fence rail. No fault of the fence manufacturer, it is just a different design.Took about 2 hours to install because of the modifications to the table. If that wasn't necessary it would of been an hour max. Everything squared right up no problems, instructions are typical, average not awesome. As for the fence itself, the markings on the rail are nice and clear 1/8" graduations, i like the double 0 that takes the blade width into account when moving the fence to the right side of the blade. The main reason i bought this was for the ability to flip the fence into a low profile position. This allows the guides to be lowered much closer to the material when making thin strips than with the stock fence which was 4" high cast iron beastie. The drift adjustment is simple and effective. Also one feature I didn't realize is that you can flip the fence out of the way with it staying on the rail as it is round. kind of nice as you don't need to find a home for it if you need to remove it for some reason. The old fence was on a square rail so you had to find a flat surface to hold it when not in use. Last bonus is there is more clearance between the rail and the table making it easier to do blade changes.

MM 16
Thanks to Seltek for the review. I also own an MM16 from the same era and have been looking for a fence upgrade. Thanks to you I found it. BTW, after adjusting for drift the past 20 years, it finally occurred to me to square the table to the blade. Presto! No more drift!
