Seems like good quality but....
Pros:Study design (I think you could hit this with a brick and the brick would come out worse off).Plug and play.LED light on front makes plugging things in in the dark much easier.Cons:usb ports are so tight i have to use full force to plug in any devices. This obviously makes me quite nervous when dealing with high end USB devices.Has the ability to take a power supply (PS-5V4W-sold seperately) suggesting that a power supply is needed for full operation. (take this with a pinch of salt as i can not confirm)The USB cable included is a micro-usb3.0 to USB 3. Would have been far better as USB3 to C or C to CIncluded cable is ludicrously short (I'm guessing 60cm-ish?) unless your having this next to a laptop almost centainly too short.LED light on front, although also be a Pro wont switch off when your PC is switched off meaning that it is constantly drawing power even when not in use (this can be fixed in your PCs Bios but at the cost of disabling other features on your PC). aka, now power efficient.Made in china.Despite all of that, it is cheap and sturdy and does the job (so far). Will update if it burns out.

Too difficult to plug in USB cables
I like the idea of a USB Hub with 4 sockets on my desktop. The hub itself is made with solid feeling aluminium, and the rubber base is a nice touch to stop it moving around my desk. It looks good, and fits in with the aluminium materials used to make modern iMacs and MacBooks....BUT...The blue plastic tongue inside each of the USB sockets seems to be a bit too large. It is difficult to plug in almost all of my USB cables. At first I thought that I was just not used to plugging into a socket that is placed at an angle, and I was not lining up my cable correctly. But even after a few goes I still find it difficult to plug in (and unplug) cables. Maybe the manufacturer could file down the edges of the blue plastic to make a bevel, or they could make the tongues trapezoidal, or they could be made out of softer plastic.

Tight Times indeed
Arrived in well protected box, looks fine but it is plastic. Agree with many posts on here To expensive in my opinion & you do need to push it into the USB port at the back of the iMAC with some strength.(Why is that..?) Once fitted its very handy to plug into the front instead of the back. Immediately plugged my iPad miniin to test it & easily uploaded photos from iPad to IMAC in seconds..I did hesitate buying this because of the price, but if it continues to be as good as this morning...I would recommend it.. {ALAS} Things change and some of the ports work, while others don't. So as an update to my original review.. Not very impressed..Sorry...!

Stylish, but short cable and non-standard USB
Stylish, sits nicely on the corner of my desk. But I'd rather it wasn't on the corner. However, a short USB cable - maybe 50cm - with a non standard USB plug (see picture) gives me little choice.UPDATE: The mystery connector is a Micro USB 3.0; and the supplied cable is 70cm long

Very tight to plug USB cables in.
Looks good, seems to be good quality build BUT half of my four USB cables would not fit...Or rather, i didn't want to use too much pressure to make then plug in and yes, I was putting them in the right way round :-) I do not trust this to either damage the contact strips in my cables or have the blue tabs in the hub that align the usb cable plug - sadly returning this item.
