We live about 50 miles from the TV stations. When first scanned, we had 10-12 stations. We only hoped to get the 3-4 main broadcasters (ABC CBS NBC PBS. As the weeks past, the number of stations dwindle down until we only have 3-4 (depending on weather). It seems the unit deteriorates the signal. I guess we will be glad to get CABLE (that terrible 5 letter word that costs monthly). We were hoping to avoid the MONTHLY bills for so many stations with NOTHING worth watching. Now I know why it is NO LONGER AVAILABLE. We have been through 3 of them.

This is a very good antenna. You still have to do some work to point it in the right direction, but it works well. We don't have cable but we get all of the basic channels with this.
