Protects your ears very well!
It was definitely an experience trying these on for the first time. They're the first Electronic shooting muffs I've ever had the pleasure of putting atop of my ears. You can listen attentively for weapon malfunctions, and the action of the weapon performing. For the sound of gunfire, it cuts out perfectly and protects the hearing very well. You still hear everything but its greatly reduced. Volume can be adjusted.

For the money, these are pretty good ear muffs for the money. Adjust easily to get a good fit. Noise cancelling is not the best I've experienced but they the job. I'm very sensitive to LOUD noises and I was comfortable shooting for about 2 hours. One thing though. The one they say is red, is really more purple than red.

Awesome ear protection
I work on the airport ramp next to 747s etc and have to wing walk and guide planes in and out and this is the best ear protection by far. It’s lightweight and the ability to select the frequency you want to let in is amazing. I can tune out the high level decibels and still hear my supervisor talk. Only thing is the batteries don’t seem to last too long but still well worth the purchase.

Don't fit around ears properly
There is not enough cushioning, and the materials used to make the ear surround is not "plush" enough to provide a closed, snug surround to meet the objective of a noise-cancelling earmuff. Had to modify for them to be effective.

The Howard Leight ImpactPro Adjusters BREAK LIKE PEANUT BRITTLE!
These Honeywell Howard Leight ImpactPro Ear Muffs should be called: IMPACT BLOW! Cheap CE plastic!On my 2nd pair only because I thought I would give them another chance since they are comfortable and supposed to go to 30 db. However THEY DO NOT HOLD UP, THE PLASTIC BREAKS ON THE WIRE ADJUSTERS. My first pair 3 of the 4 wire adjusters broke just using them. The 2nd pair broke after using them a dozen times, never dropped them.In emails, the Mfg. said they would back them, then they never did. Tired to repair them myself with JB weld, held for a while then snap. Poor design on the adjusters.Midwest Shooting Center where purchased was NO Help as well.I would find something better until they fix their "chink in the armor".
