Vichy Neovadiol Night Compensating Complex Replenishing Care Night Moisturizer, 1.69 Fl Oz

I have used Vichy products for 15 years. Normally I order them directly from the Vichy website. Last week, I was running a little low, and decided to order my products from Amazon. Much quicker delivery time. Did receive it the next day. HUGH MISTAKE!! Both the outer packaging and the jars had 4 or 5 different sets of instructions on them, none of were in English. Looked like Russian or another Eastern Block script. This is not the worst issue, as I know how to apply and use. Even though the packages appeared to be intact, when I opened each jar, they were not sealed, most of the product was gone. and in the small amount of night crème left-there was an actual impression of a human finger, and what appears to be a fragment of a fingernail in the bottom of the jar. The packing and jars went into the trash . I am a Prime member, and Amazon gets a good deal of $$ from myself and y family every month. We are going to have to rethink this. Utterly disgusting!!!! ORDER DIRECTLY FROM VICHY, IT IS LESS EXPENSIVE!!!

My skin and face started looking a little haggard and it appeared that whatever I was using wasn't working, so I started looking into what products to try. I decided on this product mainly because of the reviews, but the price-point didn't seem too crazy after seeing what is out there. Well, I have been using it for a week and have to say my skin appears to be brighter looking (not so worn out), and a couple of deep lines around my mouth and jaw did appear to be somewhat diminished. I will admit that I am 62, but I never smoked or sunbathed and it was disconcerting to have these deep lines at my young age! Some reviewers found the scent to be off-putting, but I found it pleasant (à chacun son). The results for me make this a keeper, at least for now. For a newbie, I think it is worth trying and, for me, is worth the price.

I don't know whether it was a manufacturer issue or an Amazon issue, but I received this and the Vichy Neovadiol Compensating Complex day cream and both appeared to be used. The outer package was damaged (I received them in two different packages) and not taped. When I opened the creams, neither had a seal. These did not look to be untouched and I believe they must have been returns.Had it not been for that, I would have given this at least 4 stars, however. I am 52 and menopausal, resulting in dramatic skin change. I have tried several products, from creams, serums, to balms and oils. All of those that I've tried, despite the claim that they were for dry skin, just sat on my face. My face just felt as though I painted my face and I felt no moisturizing benefits.These products were different. I have noticed a difference, and while it may be hard to believe, I noticed it relatively quickly. My skin wasn't suddenly flawless, but I did notice a subtle difference in the appearance of my skin and my skin didn't start to feel paper dry within an hour.So, if someone can get their act together and send new, unused products, I would recommend this product.

I have been using this for the past...3 months I think?? I have perimenopausal symptoms and my skin was even participating in the hormone $#!* storm with red patches. This has helped markedly, I still have a visible redness but is it really improved and my skin feels great. I will be a loyal customer.

This is a great night product for mature skin. It feels really good as I'm spreading it across my face. I've used this product for some time now and plan to continue its use.

I really like the other creams from this brand so I purchased this thinking it would be great. It pills and looks like dry skin balling up. I do not like it all.

Bottle came 2/3rd full, with no tamper seal. Product itself is drying and feels terrible on the skin.

It feels nice on face and no smell. Face feels good in the morning. This is a good quality night cream, but I am not convinced it is better than other night creams I have used that cost much less. I like CeraVe , which is recommended by dermotologist, feels about the same, and is much less expensive.

I've been using this night moisturizer for about 3 weeks. I like the smell and texture, it's not too heavy or sticky.It claims it cools down your skin and I don't really think it does, just the opposite it feels like it has quite a lot of alcohol and feels quite warm when applying it.I'm not sure I'll buy it again, it's not expensive but I'm not convinced it does the job, I think I have tried more suitable for my skin night creams that feel like moisture my skin better than this one at similar value.

I bought this product because I read that it is very good and I do indeed like it, but was very upset that it appeared to have been opened and used already! I paid for a new product. I can't return it as it was delivered to my mother's house in England and she brought it to me abroad where I am staying now and will not return before the 30 days limit.
