Lower in carbs than almond or coconut flour
When I was diagnosed recently with diabetes I had to switch some of my usual baking supplies to lower in carbs. I came across this article about pecan flour and was happy Amazon carried it. Just the right size for me to try in my morning glory muffins. I did use only pecan flour & it did come out dark cause you couldn't see any of the good stuff, like the apples, carrots, pineapple, or zucchini. IBut that's why trying new things sometimes you have to adjust. My muffins were moist & very tasty nevertheless. I will be trying them again with this flour perhaps with almond flour next time. Really quite good for Keto.

Best pecan flour by far!!!
Most pecan flours are more like "meal" than actual "flour" consistency. You tend to find chunks of pecans in these products and the texture is more gritty than fine. This is not the case with this company's pecan flour. I would say it is as fine as you can get with pecans. I can make cheesecake crust and believe it or not an actual pecan cake! I hope this company continues to make this product because I can't find anything else of this quality and fine consistency when it comes to pecan flour.

Terrific product!
I used this pecan flour for a healthy style breading with a chicken dish I made. It's easy to work with and delicious! I highly recommend trying this brand, Fisher, of pecan flour. I will buy their almond flout next! I'm only sorry I didn't take a picture to show how delicious the meal turned out - next time!

Good Almond Flour Substitute
Not too bad! This pecan flour is fine-ground and acts basically like an almond flour; it works best when combined with a bit of "normal" flour as well. I was surprised that using this flour didn't really add a significant amount of "pecan" flavor to whatever I made; I used it in pancakes and for the most part they were the same as normal, just with a small bit more chew to them. The bag doesn't reseal very well, but if you have a small airtight container you could easily transfer it into that, or even just place the bag in there to be sure it's not being exposed to air.If you're looking for an alternative to almond flour, I think this pecan flour is quite a decent solution, especially for the price.

Alternative to Almond Flour
I sometimes use this instead of almond flour in recipes.

Great for low carb breading for chicken
Hi am trying to eat fewer carbs in my diet, so have started experimenting with net flowers. This is the first time I have tried pecan flower and it was great for breading chicken.
