Milwaukee 49-22-4146 Rip Fence for 6405-6, 6390-20, 6390-21, 6394-21, and 6460 Circular Saws

Since Ryobi is not supplying accessory fences for the this saw model and trying to find the Ryobi-accessory circular-saw fence for several months, I had to find another source. After trying a universal brand model available on Amazon (which was way too sloppy for a good fit in the saw's fence slots), I opted to try this rip fence kit (Milwaukee No. 49-22-4146). It's made in the USA. Before fully opening the package, I could test the end of the T-bar to see if it would fit the fence slots. Surprisingly, it fits with about the closest tolerances I could find for a replacement fence. The fence is very well made (heavy duty) and stamped with inch increments that allow for visual adjustment. The T-bar wrap-back gap on the rip fence easily accommodates the sole or shoe of the saw; the rip guide of the fence can be placed against blade for setting adjustment distance. Using an inexpensive caliper, I measured the bar width and thickness at about 12.5mm X 4.5mm. (Slot width on the saw is about 13.5mm.) The bar is fraction of a millimeter narrower than an OEM fence MIGHT be (if one was ever, or will be, available and made with closer tolerances), but IMO the play is small enough that the fence still fits tight enough to be very workable when guide is installed and tightened down. The three thumb or wing screws that come with the kit are useless for the Ryobi because they are not the right size nor thread. I am using what is probably a metric Allen-head screw as a replacement for the included wing screws; it is or close to a 10-32 thread or whatever metric pitch the saw screw hole has.

Let me start by saying I love that this product allows me to make straight cuts that would normally mean I bring a table saw with me at a fraction of the size and weight of a table saw.Pros: light weight Makes quality straight cuts Compact form can be stored just about anywhere( careful not to bend the accessory) Fully made of metal( long lasting)Cons: I don’t see any to owning this accessory

It feels a little delicate but it fits perfectly in my M12 circular saw. I’ll store it a safe place and not the bottom of my bag.

This fence is fine and works better than what I had been using, a fence from a 40-year-old craftsman saw.Unfortunately, my saw is the model that only has the one thumbscrew that goes in at an angle & tends to turn the rip fence when tightened. It takes some tinkering to make sure the fence is aligned straight before you cut. It still works, but the saw itself could have been designed to use this fence much better.I do believe the fence should have come with the saw.

I bought this hoping it would fit my Craftsman 20V 6 1/2 inch circular saw CMCS500. I could not find a Craftsman one anywhere online. However, It does not fit. I was able to make it fit with a fair bit of grinding to narrow the dimensions of the bar. It works well now but I would not recommend it for the Craftsman saws straight out of the box.

Fit my 7 1/4 inch Milwaukee 18v saw. Used it to rip an LVL beam. Worked great, just what I needed to make a straight long rip.

Got this for my 7-1/4 M18 Milwaukee circular saw, cuz for some reason Milwaukee no longer sends the rip fence with their saw. The fenced worked and fit into my saw, however there could be some improvements to make it more versatile.

I used this with a worm drive circular saw also made by Milwaukee (I wasn't sure if another rip fence kit would fit, though I'm now pretty sure I could have just bought one from home depot). This tool, for the price, made my work extremely easy.I made four passes, each 1/8 inch apart using a circular saw blade that was good for cutting pressure-treated wood. This attachment for my circular saw made it easy and relatively precise.

El producto llegó doblado, presumo al tipo de empaque de envío (un sobre-bolsa de poliburbuja) y al "cuidado" de la mensajería, por lo que al ser una guía de corte esto afectaría el corte mismo; pude enderezarla con la ayuda de un tornillo de banco y una prensa "c", pero, ¿si no tuviera las herramientas para repararla? ¿tengo que hacerlo si es nueva?Creo que Amazon de un tiempo para acá envía más productos en ese tipo bolsas y estoy de acuerdo para contaminar menos y reducir costos, es cierto que años atrás todo venía en cajas y muchas veces innecesariamente, pero creo deben ajustar sus criterios de envíos en artículos suceptibles a desajustarse o dañarse.
