Easy installation and stable
I’m very happy with this pull-up bar. It feels sturdy and well-made, and installation was quick and straightforward. The bar fits securely in the doorway and gives me confidence while working out. I’ve used it for pull-ups and other exercises, and it has held up very well so far. The grip is comfortable, and the overall design is simple but effective. Great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable doorway pull-up bar.

Perfect item!
Bought this to do some at home workouts on my days off work and it works like a charm, I was scared at first to put my full body weight on it but I can assure you it feels very sturdy. Only took < 10 minutes to put together and really straight forward!

EASY TO INSTALL FOR A GREAT PRODUCT!
Excellent product. Very easy to install and mount, I spent around 20 minutes because I barely do any installation at home. Directions are clear. The product is sturdy I was afraid that it wasn't going to feel sturdy enough but it can handle some weight. No problems with door frame whats so ever. You can adjust the bar as thicker or thin as you need it depends on your door and wall space. Overall excellent product!

Got stronger biceps
If you’re anything like me, you may be wondering three things when looking at chin-up bars: –Will this fit in my door? –Is it strong enough to hold me up? –Will it destroy the molding? I’ll go through each of these points in my review. 1. “Will this fit my door?” It fits perfectly for a standard interior door with the following dimensions: Door slab width: ~31¾" Clear opening between jambs: a bit over 31" Top molding/header depth: just under 3" Total wall + frame thickness: ~7" The bar sits centered on the molding and clears the wall without interference. It can also be used on a narrower door with the following dimensions: Door slab width: a little over 25" Clear opening: ~25" Top molding/header depth: ~3" Total wall + frame thickness: ~5½" The bar can span this opening, but you won’t be able to use it for the widest type of grip, because the door frame will be resting on the bar itself, rather than the rubber ends that are supposed to contact the door frame. So useable but with limitations. The bar won’t fit on doors with oversized molding (~6" high for example). It also won’t work if there is no molding, because there will be nothing to latch onto. 2. "Is it strong enough to hold me up?" This is rated for 440 pounds, and I never put even half that much weight on it, so definitely haven’t tested this to its limits. For my use, it held up well. When I use the parallel grip the bar flexes more and the door creaks a bit, but nothing has broken. Creaking in general is something that happens when this is used on a door frame for the first time. The more it’s used, the less creaking there will be. The bar comes with a piece of metal designed to be hammered into the molding to help it stay in place. The product pictures don’t show this though. I’ve risked my safety a bit, perhaps, by not installing it, but have been careful enough with my chin-ups to not fall off so far. 3. "Will it destroy the molding?" The bar comes with some rubber pads to put on the molding where it supports the bar ends. I have hardwood molding and haven’t used the pads. There has been no damage to the molding so far. Summary Overall this is a solid product and I’m happy with how it’s functioned. It lets me do chin-ups at home and is a good balance of being relatively inexpensive but still sturdy enough to use without too much apprehension.

Great price-to-quality ratio. It’s hard to see why you would need more than this.
Amazing no-brainer home workout device. It sets up super easily. The inclusion of the locking nuts is a nice touch. The bar sags a little bit when you do the middle grip variations, but the grips feel solid, and the silicone pads that go on the wall make everything feel super stable. I would highly recommend this. I already did a bunch of work with a 20 lb vest and I weigh about 185, and the thing didn’t budge. It’s hard to see how you would mess yourself up with this unless you didn’t do the basic fastener work right, or you attempted some kind of hyper-dynamic CrossFit Kip move on it and dislodged the back, but it would be tough.

This is the bar you are looking for 👌
I've purchased 7 or 8 of these door frame pull-up bars over the years and th we y have all been trash. They are always poor quality, break easily, and do a lot of damage to the door frame. That is not the case with this one. This bar is made with much higher quality materials. The padding does not dent or leave black residue on the door frame, and the bar is quite sturdy and does not bend or creak while I am doing pull-ups on them (6 ft. 190 lbs). This is the only door frame pull-up bar I will ever order in the future. 5 stars.

Not good with wide door trim
The bar itself seems sturdy, but it is not compatible with wide door trim. My doorframe trim is 5 inches wide and it was impossible to install the unit with the safety clip in place. Without the clip, the bar detached from the doorway anytime it got bumped at all.

Disappointing
Delivery was a day or so late but the real problem was the item itself. Screws are not long enough- there is a spring loaded locating lug which didn’t line up with the holes, this made the whole thing useless - very disappointing! It had also been delivered and returned to someone else so the packaging was damaged and bodged.

Great for Home Workouts
I’m a beginner and wanted an easy way to do pull-ups at home. Floor stands take up too much space, and wall-mounted ones don’t feel safe. This doorway bar solved that perfectly. It’s easy to install, doesn’t damage the door frame, and feels very sturdy with no wobbling. The build quality is solid and it gives me a lot of confidence when working out.
