Laser projection is very bright compared to my other unit. This one allows you to project crossbeam, vertical, and horizontal independently. I haven’t used it for my project yet but I’m sure it will serve it’s purpose.The minor issues aren’t deal breakers for sure. The actual unit has four unnecessary nubs on the bottom that makes using the L-mount not as smooth as it should be. As you rotate the unit to position, the nubs rub against the mount and cause it to shift. Consider how much a 3 mm shift will affect the laser 10ft away. I could tell the mount wasn’t square just from looking at it. The one that came with my Tacklife is better and has a small raised circular area that’s the only point of contact with the unit (also has stronger magnets).

Please listen to this and other reviewers - this laser level CANNOT be used in any kind of sunlight outdoors. Forget the green light works in sunlight statement. This unit does not shine the laser beyond 6 to 8 feet in sunlight.I was placing a fence posts in my backyard and had to wait unit dusk (read that as absolutely no sunlight at all, nearly completely dark) to shoot the line and to be able to see it. So it is completely useless for any outside project.Was the unit accurate? Yes. Could I used it inside? Yes, even during the day with ambient light. But there is no way you could use this outside unless you plan to do your project at night.Don't waste your money like I did. Look for a different laser level - this isn't the laser you've been looking for.

Nylon protective pouch, magnetic mount (would have liked stronger magnets/more sturdy mount), standard 1/4-20 threaded mount for tripods, very bright, easy to use. Not pro-grade, but it works for me. A low price for a useful tool. Photo shows vertical laser used to line up bolts in a ceiling.

So basically every other laser level costs over $200. This offers a pretty decent solution for an impossible to pass up price point. Still, using it outside is not super great. Indoors it has been perfect. Make sure you get yourself a very tall tripod to mount this.

Works great for layout at work, sometimes a little hard to see in the sun but works like a charm indoors under any light conditions.

Easy to use. Does the job. Things are level on demand.
