An effortlessly outstanding book.
I made two of the recipes from this book 20 minutes after I received it in the post. The truth is I could have made any of them. The ingredients used throughout the book are easily available at your local store. They are all simple yet fantastic. The best thing is every recipe has a big colour photo and you know it’s going to be as healthy as it gets and all my 4 kids tuck in without hesitation. This is potentially the best cookbook I’ve ever bought. I use it every other night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sadly, way too American
with recipes for food and ingredients unavailable unless you live, as the author does, in Central America. This book is written by and for, a purely American audience. Don't waste your money if you're in the UK or Europe. I've not made one recipe from this book, I hoped it would give me some inspiration, but it hasn't, and I love to cook.It's not a bad book, not by any means, it's just not written for a European customer base.

Dermatitis caused by cutting out too much fat.
This cookbook omits oils and fats. After reading of the ill effects of oil in our diet I cut them out. I still ate nuts, avocados and flaxseed. I ended up with dermatitis a condition I’ve never suffered from, it has been so uncomfortable. I have reintroduced oils and fats and my skin is now improving albeit slowly. We need enough fat for vitamin absorption, despite a diet full of whole plant based foods I wasn’t absorbing enough vitamins.

Disappointing
I was expecting something really healthy given it is WFPB. However, after stating in all the introductory material about not using salt, sugar or oils, I was horrified to find that salt was used in most recipes as was sugar and coconut milk! All these things are awful in every sense. I cannot see how any of these sit in the healthy WFPB way of eating?

Wonderful recipes....
I was a practising cannibal for over 20 years and it caused me no end of problems. I couldn't keep away from my friends fingers, toes and it just escalated from there. Someone in CA mentioned your book as a good way to wean myself off of human flesh and, as I was at my wit's end, I gave it a try. You have saved so many lives and now I can have friends again! Thank you sooooo much!
