These are the first discs I've purchased. I'm an absolute beginner and did not want to spend a bucket of money on my first set - I've found them to be durable and easy to find in the rough, where I often find myself.

At first I was skeptical about ordering these to start with disc golf but, I am highly impressed on how they flew. This is all you need to get started, the plastic material has grown on me. I will have to purchase another set because I have lost 2 out of the 3 already. Just have to get better from here! Thank you discmania.

It was a great beginner set for me, however now that I’ve been playing the whole summer I’ve acquired many more discs, this is really cheap plastic and once broken in the flight it a bit unpredictable. GREAT FOR BEGINNERS, or if you want to try these molds. I would suggest researching molds that you want to try and just buying them in cheap plastic individually.

Great for beginners. Not too durable.

This is a good starter set of discs. I love the whimsical themes that Disc Mania has. One thing about these disks - the ratings are not printed on the disc. I found the numbers for each disc on another website and wrote them on the discs with a sharpie.

I love that you get what they say you will.However, the discs start out a bit over stable for beginners. The good news is they beat in quick, however it made mine a bit unusable after only a few rounds/throws.I feel like this pack does one thing really good though. That is for open field practice. Knowing you are getting the same discs that are a bit over stable can really help a person to understand flight and their ability for a low price.

As a total disc golf noob, I bought 4 starter sets — for the money this was by far the best (and I am talking Dynamic Disc, X-Com, and Innova). Not to say it was the best-best, but for 18.00 bucks ( what I paid during a sale) this set rocked (most others were 25-30 bucks).

Fantastic starter set. Durable and each disc has great forgiveness for beginners. Love these discs!
