I love the mount for this first and foremost. Hard to find this design with a center mount, which looks better and is easier to work around. It secured very well and stays extended. I’m using it for a 35” wide aquarium, and it does a great job of lighting it. Not only are there 4 different light modes, 24 hour mode will simulate the full day light levels and you can also make your own custom modes. It can be programmed into the remote. The remote is a bit finicky and could be better. My only real concern is the durability - I hope it’s built to last. If I have any issues prematurely, I will definitely update this review. Overall I’m happy so far and it’s a good value granted it lasts! See attached photo, it’s fairly stealthy and hard to see the light

This is the best aquarium light on the market! I have 2 and I am buying a 3rd one today so I decided to leave a review. Extremely well made and has convenient settings. It has a 24hr setting so you can't really mess it up. The lighting quality is top notch (coming from an electrician) it really lights up the tank and throws the light well always giving you a pretty look & keeping the fish and plants in a more natural environment. Great buy! 10/10 Great Buy, and worth every penny.

Ok, where do I start? My impression of this light is basically good. The design of it, it looks nice on my new rimless 17 gallon tank. The arm bends smoothly and the light itself seems well constructed. The body of the light is super slim. It attaches to the glass of the tank securely. One of the screws seems to be sort of wobbly as it screws thru the hole in the flange but it holds fine when screwed in all the way. There is an on/off on the back of the unit, on a control on the cord, and also on the remote. The switch on the unit has to be on for the other on/offs to work. The control on the cord also has the 4 light modes you can go thru; cloudy, thunder, sunny and moonlight. These are also on the remote with other options; Max which is basically the sunny selection of the 4 light modes, the 24/7 mode and then there are the color controls for your own color creations. You can save 4 of them.The directions are pretty bad, like yeah probably the worst translation from Chinese to English. This is especially challenging with trying figure out the color buttons, like I think I know what they are getting at, sort of?... Anyway I can make the color buttons work for me, it helps to have a background in art and to know the color wheel. If you play around with it enough, you can get blue, green, purple , a sort of golden color, orange-red, pink etc.....and you can mute, intensify, darken and lighten them to a degree. Its pretty cool really, but not all that intuitive. When you press a color you don't get that color, its all about manipulating the the selected color you start with. You can take the cloudy, sunny, moonlight modes and adjust the color, brightness, intensity of them and then save them in the four memories.The light I got certainly is bright enough. The 24/7 cycle works on demo and each time button shows the light it will be at that time and I believe the lighting slowly changes as the 24 hour cycle progresses. I have not used it yet. I am in the process of setting up a tank after not having one for years.I wanted a clip on light because I did not want to cover up the top of my rimless tank. After reading reviews It seemed this was the one to try in this price range.I think when I get everything set up it will work out ok. I think....

In this review I show case my previous like that I had to manually switch on and off blue and white light every day, to this new light I just purchased, I will show you all the mods it runs and what settings I chose for my aquarium light. This 23 inch light fits my 29 gallon tank perfectly!Im very sat with this light and it met mostly all my expectations, however its missing one key feature it really needs a 12 hour setting for the memory feature it has, it really sucks that i have to manually turn on and off the lights again lol, also the rang isn’t great you basically have to stand next to it to get it to function properly, it really need longer range and another infrared sensor on both sides so no matter what side you’re facing your tank it will be able toPick up the signals.Thats is an awesome light but it hasn’t been perfected yet! Ordered this for my planted paludarium. With the first one I received the remote stopped working instantly. I didn’t even have a chance to experiment with all the different settings. The replacement came today and I’d say this light is decent. You can adjust the intensity of the red, blue & green when it’s just in the regular mode, and you can save that setting. My biggest gripe is I wish you could program your own version of the 24/7 mode. But for the price, I will make this work for now

I really liked this light but sadly it’s just not enough light for my 40 gallon breeder tank. I bought it thinking the bendable neck that attaches the light to the base would be longer and able to reach at least the middle of the tank. That is NOT the case. It’s maybe three inches of reach which sucks because it ends up leaving a lot of shade in my tank making my plant leaves dye off. I purchased the longest light but I probably should have bought two to cover more of the tank but again that wouldn’t have mattered much as my plants are all over and the light doesn’t even reach the middle of my tank. My background plants love it though. I ended up buying a new light for this tank but I’ll keep this light and use for one of my planted 10 gallons.On a plus side: I couldn’t figure out how to program the light at first and the support team was amazing and sent me an additional digital remote instructions. Honestly those were wayyyyy better and I had no issues setting the light after that. Another reason I’ll definitely keep and utilize this light in another tank.
