Excellent gloves perfect for any vegan
I'm vegan, so I've had lots of trouble finding decent (and affordable) workout gloves that don't include leather or any other animal products. These gloves, made with all synthetic materials, fit that bill. I've been using them for about a month and haven't noticed the slightest bit of wear or tear on them (and the calluses on my hands have gotten better!).The thumb pad is really nice for when you don't have a towel on you (or, more typically, in between towel wipes), but of course, if you're going to be doing a long workout, it isn't going to be sufficient no matter how absorbent it is. The pull tab on the middle finger is also a big help. The included disc contains some basic workout-design software, but I haven't used it because it's so basic. If you're very new to working out, it may be a help, but I believe that intermediate to advanced exercisers won't have much use for it.The one criticism I have is that, at least at first, they didn't seem well-ventilated enough and my hands would get a little hot and sweaty. However, I think that's a small price to pay for gloves that are equally small in price.

Best workout gloves I've ever owned
I had to recently replace a pair of old Harbinger workout gloves. I had gotten a pair of Nikes, and absolutely hated them (they were so slick, I was scared of losing my grip on the bar).Anyway, after reading the reviews of the GoFit Diamond-Tac gloves, I decided to give them and try.I'm very glad I did. They were everything I read about in the reviews and then some. The grip extremely well, yet breathe better than any glove I've ever had. They're easy to take off (thanks to the slightly extra long index finger).I didn't view the video that comes w/ it. The other reviewers said it wasn't very good, so I decided to take their word for it.I heartily recommend them. You absolutely won't regret using these gloves. The only other thing I should mention is that they do run a tad on the large side. So if you typically wear an XL glove, just get a large. If you typically wear a large, get a medium.

Great Gloves
I have owned the GoFit Diamon-Tac Weightlifting Gloves for 6 months and have not had any major problems with them. I use them 6 days a week, for 1-3 hours, with weight ranging from 30-60lbs in each hand. The glove palm and underside of the fingers are very sturdy and show almost no wear. However, the velcrow stitching came undone almost immediately from unfastening the gloves and the finger tab needs to be cut off before use. I find the gloves to be more comfortable when they are open. Sizing appears to be accurate. If you're under 200lbs the large will fit great. Overall the best pair of gloves I have ever owned.

excellent construction
I do a lot of rowing - mostly with an old Concept2 rowing machine. It has an unpadded wooden handle which can tear up your hands. The GoFit gloves work very well. Not too much padding for the purpose and the open fingers allow me to use my iPhone for music and podcasts during the long boring sessions. It looks like they are very well built and that would translate to a long life. I recommend them.

Don't lift with gloves; these are okay though
I got these when I started strength training. They're fine if you want gloves, but the more I've learned, the more I see that gloves interfere with good lifting. When you're lifting heavy, gloves cause the bar to press against the gloves and your skin, leading to bigger, rougher calluses and more hand pain than lifting bare-handed with a solid grip. Unless you have some specific hand or skin issues -- or, I don't know, a dirty rusty bar that could give you tetanus -- just lift barehanded.

Light weight, simply glove that help prevents callous.
I have used many different weightlifting gloves from all of the popular brands and I find this glove to be great due to its light weight and perfect amount of padding. The grip on the padding area is just enough so that you get a firm grip on the bar but not too much so that it does the gripping for you. I just wanted something to help prevent callous on my hands but not provide too much grip because I also want to strengthen my grip while I lift weights. So far, this glove is what I was looking for.Pros:- light weight- good amount of padding- just the right amount of gripCons:- durability: the fabric o the backside seems to wear out a little fast but it is still holding strong

Great general purpose gloves
I use these gloves for pushing my wheelchair around. They work just as good as gloves that cost way more at medical supply shops.
