They feel good in the hand and are sturdy. You can flip with 2 hands because they are packaged as a set. I will be flipping things left, right, up and down. Amaze you friends as you flip things in front of them.

These are pretty solid for the price. We cook a lot, so I have a pair for the grill and a pair to use in the kitchen. They have a loop on the end which makes it perfect to hang on the side of the grill.

Sturdy product

I had some other tongs that were designed similar to these years ago. They had exactly what I wanted in tongs but they grew legs one day and were never seen again. I looked forever to find replacements but for some odd reason the company had discontinued them.Every other tong I would try had those scalloped edges and cheap springs that always rusted. Not only that but they usually had the metal loop system for holding them closed. I can't count the times those have slipped sending the tongs flying apart and usually coating my face with sauce, greese, or other food stuffs.These have nice fairly smooth grip edges that grip enough to hold stuff like chicken frying without slipping and since they don't have those terribly designed scalloped edges they don't rip open the beautiful exterior crust I try to create. The mechanism that holds the tongs closed is efficient, easy to operate and actually holds the tongs closed without slipping.I know it seems I'm making a big deal about some tongs but there aren't many more frustrating things than trying to use inferior ones. These have everything I look for in a good set of tongs and they haven't rusted after several cycles in the dishwasher. Thinking of purchasing a few more sets just as a stash in case these grow legs as well.
