Two favorites in my world
As an avid gym-goer, I've always been on the hunt for the perfect pre-workout blend. Optimum has been a staple in my regimen, with its simple Fruit Punch flavor and a potent mix of creatine, beta-alanine, and caffeine. It's a formula that consistently delivers, ensuring I'm energized and focused, especially during those grueling sessions after work. I usually keep a tub in the car! Easy and quick to blend as always. However, Xwerks Ignite has recently caught my attention and for good reasons. While it offers a more natural taste AND aftertaste, what truly stands out is its comprehensive blend of natural ingredients. The inclusion of Rhodiola Root and DMAE, alongside the usual kickers like caffeine and L-Citrulline Malate, takes my workouts to a whole new level. The sustainable energy it promises is not just a claim; there's no crash, and I find myself pushing harder, lifting heavier, and lasting longer in each session. What truly shifted things over to scooping Xwerks for me is its emphasis on true performance output. As someone who trains 4-5 times a week, I need a pre-workout that not only gives me an initial boost but also sustains me throughout. Ignite does just that, and its commitment to natural ingredients aligns perfectly with my health-conscious lifestyle - or so I am trying LOL. In conclusion, Optimum Nutrition has served me well and will continue to keep it in the cabinet to change things up as needed, but Xwerks almost feels like the next step up. It's a blend that seems tailor-made for those truly serious about their fitness journey. If you're looking to elevate your workouts and demand more from your pre-workout give both a shot like I did and see what works for you!

Great! My honest results...
Summary: I like this stuff, it seems to work, the ingredients make sense - As a bit of background, I tried this product for a dozen or so workouts, journaling the effects in addition to my routine workout summaries. My theory is: how do you know what works and what doesn't if you are only going off some vague recollection of events? Anyway, every day I noticed a general feeling of well being, a feeling of being able to "do more", and a feeling of being able to complete my workout without previously experienced exhaustion. I was able to increase my weights in all my lifts as planned, although this is more of an affirmation that the product didn't inhibit my progression rather than serving as a direct correlation to its ability to increase strength. After trying this product, I switched back to another "Pre" workout formula for comparison. The results were noticeable in that I recorded an increase in "jitteriness", a feeling of burn out in the middle of the workout, and a general feeling of exhaustion, similar to the feeling of a caffeine crash. Anyway, this is hardly scientific, but it is a factual representation of my personal experience. Anyway, at $25 a tub, I think it's definitely worth a shot for anyone looking for a good pre-workout boost. Taste: tastes good - or as good as any random combination of chemicals can taste - I always mixed it with a chocolate whey (also from ON), and I quite enjoyed the mix. Ingredients: solid mix of proven stuff in adequate quantities. Mixability: readily dissolved in water with just a spoon and minor agitation. Dose: I only used one scoop, but I liked the fact that the label includes ingredient quantities on both 1 and 2 scoops. It's always annoying when to get a solid dose of ingredients you have to take 2 scoops - this Pre is fine at one scoop with two listed for anyone who is interested. How I used: I used this pretty much as directed: 1 scoop of the product combined with 1 scoop of the ON whey mixed with water in a shaker 15-30 minutes before working out. My workouts last around 1-1.5 hours often including 30 minutes of cardio. This stuff seemed to last through my longest workouts without any noticeable crash or jitteriness FOR ME. Hope this helps!
