I like that it is not soft
The reviews for this item talk about the texture of the loofa being too harsh for their skin. That is precisely what I was looking for because I use Retin-A which is a super duper expensive prescription only exfoliator. That means it makes my skin peel. This pad gets rid of the dead skin. After which I use a very dewey moisturizer and foundation that is not drying so my skin glows. I am 69 years old. But no one thinks I am older than early 50s. If you are looking for exfoliation and can tolerate the texture, buy this.

Not the best loofah.
They're ok. They're a bit too soft for me. It's the same effect as using a wash cloth.
