AVEENO Positively Nourishing Hydrating Body Wash, 16 FL. OZ. - Fig and shea butter formulaThis product is the bomba! I was looking for a moisturizing body wash that didn't have an overpowering fragrance and didn't clash with any applied fragrance after bathing.This product is smooth and creamy and makes a nice lather. The smell is absolutely delicious! Soothing and lightly fruit scented, it's very much reminiscent (no pun intended) of a spa-experience. It cleans well, without being harsh or drying. I especially like traveling with it, because hotel products I have experienced tend to be drying and can sometimes have off-putting scents. This product is very inexpensive to boot! Here is a relaxing tip: a squirt or two into your hot bath makes for a relaxing stress-relieving soak! And who couldn't use that? A break from it all could be as close as your bath or shower! Enjoy!I usually finish the bath with Nivea Cocoa Butter Intensively Hydrating Body Lotion that goes on before getting out of the tub or shower. Please refer to that review- and you'll enjoy soft skin and will smell like a million for pennies!! The two products go hand in hand! Enjoy bah time! Pass on this one. Get the regular oatmeal wash.
The smell of this particular product is horrible. Kind of like patchouli and rotten fruit. Would not recommendvif you are sensitive to smells.

More drying than hydrating.
I live in an area where the air is very dry during the winter. I absolutely love the unique smell (fig!) of this cleanser, but it leaves my skin dry. After only a few uses, it’s been put away for the winter...I’ll try it again during the summer.

Too perfumed
I love Aveeno products and after reading reviews I thought this body wash would have a nice fruity fig scent but instead it has a strong perfume scent, which apparently a lot of people enjoy but I have allergies and I had to wash the scent off using a different soap. Unfortunately, there are no refunds/returns on personal items even though it gave me a terrible headache. If you like a florally perfume scent than this would be fine for you, but if you have scent allergies beware.
