Elago Sand Case for iPhone 11 Pro - California

I’ve had this case for about a week and have not dropped my phone so I can’t say anything about the durability. You need to press a little harder then you’d expect for the buttons. The “sand” glows brighter then I had expected so it makes it easy for me to find it at night.

The sturdiness of this case is spot on. The phone fits snug in the case and feels protected. HOWEVER, the case is incredibly thick and adds weight to your phone. In my buying process I guess I over looked the reviews that mentioned the lack of access to your volume/lock buttons.In my case, I got so frustrated by this that I took a clipper/nail cutter and cut away those button covers so I’d have access to my buttons again. In conclusion, now that I have easy access to my buttons again, I really love the colors of the case it’s just aesthetically pleasing to look at and fidget with.

I got this case a couple of days ago and it is so beautiful. I got the neon yellow “hello” case and it is so vibrant and it glows in the dark! I’m able to charge my phone wirelessly so this case is really convenient. The sand in the case moves so nicely and sometimes I’m just spinning my phone around just to see it swish around. The case is thick so it is difficult to remove the case once you snap it on. The edges of the case, the edges that come up from your phone screen, I find those edges to be kinda of “sharp” they won’t hurt or scratch you but they’re not as smooth as I’d like them to be. It doesn’t bother me a whole lot but I bought this case in comparison with the sand case that Casetify sells and it’s a good dupe but their cases are really smooth and well made. I gave it four stars because the pros outweigh the cons to me!

The look of it is impeccable. The cons are 1. It is very thick. 2. They made the buttons really hard to press. I literally have to use two fingers to press my sleep button. Which are the reasons that I took one star off. But if the cons are something you are willing to sacrifice for the look of it, I’d say go for it cuz it’s truly cool!
