Was fed up with the thin plastic containers (GSL 650ml) cracking plastic bits into food so thought I would try glass. The problem with this 2 compartment 600ml container is one side is smaller than the other, and microwaving takes twice as long as with plastic container because it heats up the glass more than the food! This also makes it more less hygienic to empty on to a plate because you need to use a dish towel to hold the burning hot glass and sometimes that touches the food, yes you can spoon it out but that takes longer. Back to using used takeaway containers as they are the most versatile and are thicker plastic than any we can buy it seems.
