Fun new installment in the TLOS world
These are a hilarious addition to the Land of Stories world. Highly entertaining for kids and grown-ups alike, including many fun references for the parents that will go right over the kids' heads. My favorite thing about these books is that my seven-year-old son gets so excited about them that he'll read them on his own, when normally he wants me to read everything to him. These were great fun while we're awaiting the release of the next book in the main story.

I went ahead and bought these as an early Christmas present for myself and I love them! If anyone has read Chris Colfer's "Into the Land of Stories", series these are short stories having to do with those books. They are cute little stories, and no major spoilers, but if your like me and love adventure/mystery/love, etc you will love these classic fairytales retold in a way that makes you feel like your experiencing it all over again!

WONDERFUL!
Mother Goose has been my favorite (thus far) character from The Land of Stories series -- and it was great fun to read about her adventures in our world. Her experiences during the time of the Plague/Black Death, while not explicit, may be too sad/traumatic for the very young/pre-reader set....if you are reading this aloud to a child - read this chapter first and decide for yourself if your audience is ready to hear about the death of young children.

My cousin who does not like fairy tales at all begs me every night to read the series to him. We're about to finish book 4 right now and I've had the opportunity to take a look at this and it looks amazing. Thank you Chris Colfer for making my cousin fall in love with fairy tales!

Absolutely amazing! It's a different edition to the series, but it's a great one!
I loved this new edition to The Land of Stories. I am a fan of his writings, and new books were absolutely terrific! I have only one tiny complaint-In 'Queen Red Riding Hood's Guide to Royalty, I found it very difficult to keep up with her at times. Parts of the book were very disorganized at times. Other than that, I loved her exaggerated way of writing!Mother Goose's Diary was by far my favorite one of the two. It was written with such detail. I felt like I was there with her throughout her journeys.
