This lighter uses standard Zippo lighter fluid, or any other brand. It is not butane.

You can carry it on the plane, fuel or no fuel. Only lighters that aren't allowed are torch lighters

Q: Does it come with lighter fluid in it?

No. It was a bd gift for my dad. He bought lighter fluid separately
