Mastermind: How to Think Like Sherlock Holmes

The introduction and the first chapter were excellent. But after that the book really started to bog down and become repetitive.The writing style was difficult to read: extremely long sentences, no subheadings, and quite rambling and repetitive in places.I gave up reading on page 67. I think there’s probably the makings of a good book here, if it was half the length and rewritten to be easier to read. It feels like a missed opportunity.

The book starts well but then gets overly wordy and its not clear when the punchline is gonna come and if it does, how useful it is.
