When I sat down to read this book, having read a review on Reece Witherspoon’s InstaGram, I was a tad sceptical as the dates seem to jump a tad BUT after the second chapter I knew it would be easy to follow! An enthralling read! It had my mind working overtime toward the end and really kept me guessing! I kept thinking “what is he/she doing? What is he/she trying to achieve here?” If you liked Girl on the Train and Gone Girl, you’re going to LOVE this!

This was a great story that kept me interested right up until the end.

I like this one more than I thought I would! Solid twists and turns that innovates sort of on the resort thriller genre that has emerged in the wake of the White Lotus series’ success. I truly enjoyed learning how the characters got to the opening scene.

I had fun reading it. On the pro side, I’d point out that I was able to feel the warmth of the sun of Bora Bora on my skin, while it was snowing outside. However, as the plot untwisted, although it being greatly done, I felt it needed a bit more thought, specially the way Holli’s storyline is finished. Also I felt there’d be a second book as per Eddie’s storyline, but who knows! To put it in a nutshell, I’d recommend it without hesitation.
